More contact sound/vibration with paddle
Just bought this game for Oculus Rift with my brand new Touch controllers and happy to report it works fine - can tell I'm going to love this game. Very impressed after just an hour of play. Are there any plans to increase the volume of the ball against the paddle or some vibration effect just to add to the immersion?

shh it's supposed to be a surprise :P

There are a few minor issues (like auto detection, left right, in game controller models) which sometimes cause errors, but we'll iron those out very soon.

There are plans to revamp the sounds to improve the balance and quality across the board.

Welcome to the Eleven community :D

have you tried playing with the vibration level in the options?

Great game. Physics are about 90% with some 'weirdisms' noted around the net mostly. After a few rounds I was playing almost idetical to RL. Take a few mins to find a comfortable grip. Great job! I look forward to more updates and minor refinements that will make this a 'must have' for anyone who enjoys any level of table tennis. I like the increased tacile idea. Have not played with options alot yet though..

Thank you Hillary. I just found out I needed to opt into the Steam VR beta to access the haptic feedback and now the feeling is there as it should be. Very nice. Thank you :)

I was coming to post the same suggestions. Feedback looks like I need to tweak some settings to get it on the controllers.

The ball sounds stood out as low and lacking, it is one of my favorate things when playing IRL is hearing that little thing bounching around.

One thing that would be nice is the ability to set the height only of the table to a default. What happens is the default position is too far away for the small area I have, so I try to pull the table at me, but my hands arent very stable so I lose the default height. While I want to move around I generally want the table to be the hight it is supposed to be but I don't know it well enough to eyeball it back in position.

Anyway this game is really great, I was blow away by how naturally I just started playing again in VR. At long last, I have table tennis in my house.

Until we have a more automated solution for table height, what I do is place the paddle on the floor, and adjust the height until the paddle is resting on the virtual floor well.

Ohh very clever. I like it, that'll be just fine to make the adjustment.

Hey also you owe me two parts of my thumb skin back. Two times I've slammed my hand into my desk, and two times it was because I was reaching for a ping pong ball. Damn you ;)

Reapy, are you in a small room? I haven't actually tried it on the Touch yet :( , but I assume there are boundaries that appear that you can set, no?
Reapy Dec 13, 2016 @ 8:49am
Oh yeah, that all works!

My space is limited due to some work being done in the house (yey burst pipe) so i'm in a short rectangle where I can go wide but don't have depth. So the smash was to the upper right and I was so into it that I went full force but struck the top of the shelf that is above the desk because I lost track of where I was and was so into being in front of a ping pong table that I just came down full force on the desk.

Thought I was going to smash the controller in half but everything survived, but there was a chunk of wood missing from the desk .

The other time was again in that upper right but it was a more gentle reach for a short ball and again came up under the desk and nicked my thumb.

Really all complements there for a job well done bringing me in front of a working table.
