is it like Amped 2?

hey guys, its a long time since there's a good snowboard game out there since Amped 2 back on Xbox. Yes there is SSX and stuff... but its not the same. So is this game good?

I've not played this (yet) but there was also Stoked, which is similar to the Amped games.

alright sounds like fun. Would like to play a demo of Infinite Air, but there's no such thing as demo anymore :P

It is not. I was hoping it would be, however I was wrong. Amped 1 and 2 are my favorite snowboarding games. Stoked is a lot more like Amped, as c0Zm1c said, but it's also a bit different since it doesn't offer some things that Amped offered, and the controls are more like Skate.

Stoked is more like Amped, unfortunately they gave the rider a wrong center of rotation, and it doesn't support off-axis spins. It is a huge oversight. I don't understand why they never fixed that, since there was even a second version of the game (Big Air Edition)

I would argue that Snow is also more like Amped. But its riding model and physics are so barebones and rough still that I can't really recommend it. I'd say wait a bit for that one, although it's free, so you may as well take a look.

Infinite Air is more comparable to Skate.

U cant compare this with skate, this is wow i cant even find the right word for it, well im quite dissapointed with this game so far atleast and its not even close to what Amped was, still is for atleast.

thanks, well the movements look a little stiff, at least what I saw in the videos so far. I think i'm gonna wait for a discount.

This is the inofficial continuation of the Amped trilogy.
Never played a better Snowboard game...full recommendation!

Actually there is and you can even save your parks in the editor which you can also use in the demo! Great thing ;)
