Thujone is a sci-fi RPG, or, as I call it in the trailer, a scientific mysticism RPG that I'm developing solo in my spare time. To sum up the gameplay in one sentence: I want the exploration of Ruina, along with the gunsmithing and base upgrades of Escape from Tarkov and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. GAMMA.

Here's hoping I can actually make it that much fun!

As for me, I'm a modder with years of experience, as well as a hobbyist illustrator and fiction writer. Through a few chance turns of events, I've also made several things that went viral.

One day, I decided to create something of my own, and that's how Thujone came to be.

It's still too early to say much about some things! I'm hoping to release a public demo between late 2026 and Q1 2027, covering all of the game's core gameplay systems.

I'm in no rush to launch into Early Access. Instead, I plan to stay in the demo stage for a while (about a year, maybe...?) and decide on the next step once there's as much content as I have in mind.

From a developer's perspective, Thujone might not be quite ready to meet everyone yet.

But these are anxious times. The flood of AI games is crowding out other indie games, and I suspect every game will need to take marketing more seriously than before. In any case, getting the Steam page up sooner seems like a good place to start. At least, I hope so...

It's a little complicated... Let's save that for next time.

Finally, thank you for reading all the way to the end. I'll share the Discord and QQ groups later. If you're interested in my game, please wishlist and follow it!
