I am on eastern time for the us so usually 19:00 - 21:00 utc

cant find it, how do I actually join, never done this btw, like whats the name and where do i put the IP number?? pls help, thx in advance

So when you click into Multiplayer, press Connect to Server. Then you will need to press 'Manual Settings' and copy the IP from the original post into the 'Host name' section. Port is set to 55559 so shouldn't need to change. Hope this helps

I decided to use a cloud PC to run a server. This way it will eliminate the use of my PC's resources. The IP is different. Details are below.

hey , new to this...having problems joining the server. i have allowed the program to pass the firewall but still get the error "hostname invalid" ... suggestions ?

sidenote question...do you have by any chance the downloadable missions which used to be available for download on a server(which does not seem to be available anymore ) ?

Hi deo,

in the 'Manual Settings' part of the page, input the IP (168.100.232.129 ) and keep the Port as 55559.

Missions aren't available in Multiplayer unfortunately.

sweet.worked! at what time is there usually most traffic/ people on the server?

sidenote regarding to downloadable misssions:

Most people are on UTC. I'm on UTC-5. So best bet would be around 10-12 utc.

To get missions, download a file from shipsim forum http://forum.shipsim.com/index.php?topic=31315.msg402838#msg402838

edit: if 10-12 utc don't work, try around midnight. Some US players log in around then
