This game isn't really working and im looking for other open-world ship games. Anyone have any ideas or recommendations?

Hello,

I can't find at a search engine for a replacing game for ship simulator extremes.
Unfortunally, I think i need a new cpu, with very good raw power by single core, to be able to handle this game.

Gta 5, just cause serie, Watchdogs legion, and the previous one, you are able to practice very arcadish gameplay of driving a boat.
So far i think it's the only way :(

Unfortunally, after reading things over forums and here, there is nothing to replace ship simulator extreme and previous games

Others games, are just sailing games, but if you like sailing, it's nice :)

Stormworks Build And Rescue, It is similar in Driving but you can build ships or just use the Steam Workshop. And there is more than just Ships there is Planes, Helicopters, Cars and Submarines.

If you go to the VSTEP website they're working on a new ship simulator game. No word on when it will be out yet but it is in development. This version Ship Simulator Extremes is no longer supported, but the graphical issues can be fixed using a program called dgVoodoo.

Vehicle simulator is a very good alternative, despite being older and a bit more expensive.

NAUTIS Home Is Currently developed by the Original Devs, they decided to return and adapt their professional NAUTIS Training simulator for Personal use.

They are making a new NAUSIS Ship sim home! Should hopfuly come out next year ! That will the next in the line of this franchise

If they haven't started the work then I'd say 2022 is a bit premature.

They announced it September 2019 (based off their business version), and i believe it was due to be out Christmas 2020 but covid halted all development from March (around 9/10 months). They have now restarted so a late 2022 launch seems very likely to me!!!

Stormworks: Build and Rescue is an amazing ship game. It has better water physics than this game and pretty much any other Steam game. Although the graphics aren't the best. Moreover, you can build your own ships and planes and any other vehicle or download them from the Steam workshop. I highly recommend it for a replacement for Ship Simulator.
