The license key thing is broken

I put in a license key and it says invalid. how do i do that? and i can't skip it even though there is a "skip" button. i wish i could get a refund

Do you have the DLC too? I had the same problem and it turned out the game was asking me for the DLC content when I was trying to put in the base game key.

I bought Ship Simulator Extremes and 2 DLC. Upon clicking on PLAY a popup providing license keys for the base game and for each DLC; When the game launches I am asked for the license key and when pasted into the fields the response says the key is invalid.

press shift + tabs then you see in the right head corner cd code. copy the codes to the license key thing and your done

and make sure to put the right key for the right DLC. read the darn thing dont just assume.

If your operating system is on Windows 10, don't be surprised of major technical issues.
The system requirements for SSE, clearly indicate that W-10 is not specified.
My os is still on Windows 7/64 (for simulation purposes only) and had no problems yet.

Many people have this problem, me included. Read what the issue is don't just assume its a human mistake

Iv had this game in my library since it came out, just recently reinstalled it and I have windows 10 (worst mistake I made, 7 was better in many ways) and aside from having to manually tweak the resolution settings in the game files because it defaulted to an usuable resolution for me, the game has worked flawlessly.
