Black Screen Bug

Please help. Whenever I launch this game, there is only a black screen. I have tried reinstalling this game several times, but it has never worked.

Even the game develepors insist that it is a problem with my PC. But that seems unlikely to me because so many people are getting this same problem.

i have a black screen when i try to start the game too, so you are not alone

i think this game only supports old graphics cards..
When i still had my intelhd graphics i could run the game but after 30 minutes i had a driver error.
Now i have a GTX 1050 and i have black screen..
also no support from the creators.
ive asked him via mail, facebook and even on his own steam account, got no response.....

i think thath they made this game for older pc's and didn't update it so newer pc's have black screen or other graphical errors.
maybe they didn't patch it. (they don't update this game anymore)

ok then. That is why other people were having the graphics card problem. Someone else in the forum said that when they updated their raphics card they gpt the black screen.

Doesn't say in the PC spec that it won't run with latter grafic cards................................

I used IntelHD graphics when i ran the game firstly it worked fine but got a driver error message after 20-30 minutes playing. Now with my newer graphics card it gives black screen

i figured it was just me... and I bought this game a long time ago. and never got to experience it... just tried to install it again... and still nothing.... so pissed

hi, I went to folder Steam\steamapps\common\Ship Simulator Extremes and there is Steam file which i set prosperities/compatibility to run in W7 mode, then try to run it, then run in 640x 480 and tried to run it and many other including run as admin. nothing worked, then i tryied to run in that folder file called clean_vstore and unregister and finaly changed steam ifle from that folder to its original state and sudenly it worked. Hope it helps! I know this is not step by step how to fix it but something in the process helped me and now i can switch this game on and off as im pleased :)

BTW it worked half a year ago and issue appeared just now, but im lucky and its running again :)
