game screen not visable but still hear sound

hello i am trying to play this game and all i cannot view the game but i hear the sound can someone help?

I'm also having this problem. I just switched from ATI GPU to Intel GPU on my laptop and the menu shows up but I can only see the menu. When I move the mouse over the pages on the menu, I hear parchment sounds but I can't see my mouse move over the pages. The screen is not responding.

Hey guys! I found a solution for you windows 7/8 users. Check out this torrent link from thepiratebay http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/7109988/Cossacks_Anthology_%5BGOG%5D It's an anthology of the Cossacks game that came out in 2003, so it's not too old. It contains all 3 expansion sets. Ive torrented it and it works on my windows 8 laptop! And if you're a windows 8 user, dont forget to right click the game and go to properties and compatibility and change the compatibility mode from win7 to win8, otherwise it'll keep crashing. But other than that it works! Reply it works for you as well! This used to be my favorite strategy game an im playing it again after 10 years!
