Maybe both.
The main problem in this topic is not the OP being "an idiot of some sort" (or having connections to evil shady sites, lol, wut?), but the majority of people commenting here not having the slightest idea about how steam actually works in detail, and not being able to define even just the terms "app", "package" and "bundle" correctly. Thus, they obviousy also are not aware what "app ownership" means resp. how / when it is granted. And even the few guys here who know were able to neither falsify my initial argument, nor its "successor" (Unrated got removed to not give new buyers access to it) or to just bring up ONE logical counterargument, right?
Most of you here are trying to calm themselves down by talking about what a great developer we would have here, blabla, and how this insolent OP has dared to actually state nothing but the - sad - truth, here on steamforums - a truth you simply don't WANT to accept, because it breaks your nice little world in which "trust" actually is absolute ... believe me, in real life, it never SHOULD BE.
If you're clever, think about my words an open-minded and prejudice-free way, if not, start insulting me again, it's not that I'd actually care about it anyway... ;)
Lmao you keep telling yourself that. Like I mentioned, I recognize you, and I know that you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate when people go against you. You do care.
Sorry, have to leave, have fun guys!
Oh but you do, and your messages here shows that. You think too highly of yourself not to care. Had this taken place on the mentioned site, you would have already deleted several comments. You're a hypocrite.
Yes, and this case and other things are the reason i've stop buying digital games. If i buy a game, will be a physical copy of a complete game fully finished. I'm tired of this industry of incomplete games, game breaking patches, censorship... My last purchase was several months ago, and I'm not going to buy a game in digital stores anymore. I'm tired. I have tons of physical games that are MINE, and that a digital store or a developer isn't going to alter, censor or delete from my library. I don't need this industry of keys, licenses and digital stuff that isn't mine even when I pay for it. Game industry is dying. So that's enough. Good luck to the rest.
I understand your worries. Physical copies tho are kinda rarity since a few years, even some box versions contains only serial code without any DVDs or other discs.
Sadly, this is the trends of the 21th century. People own nothing. Not even their private data that they sell to Fbook or somebody else.

all this is done by a nice dev who made us rebuy a game we legally owned and got removed :)
but we were allowed to keep it til the end of the world.
Dear Devs... Share some news ?
As we're still waiting for full confirmation from Steam's side, I cannot share all the details, but once it's up, we'll release a full announcement.
And how to get my money back if i already re-purchased Agony Unrated from one of your Subs?
Steam didn't approved my refund request, because its more than 2 hours played.
That's great news HellMessenger. I keep my fingers crossed that this works and I encourage all other "victims" to do the same and stay cool.
