Same for me. The fun I have with Succubus mode alone is well worth the money spent on the game. Aspecially because you don't have to stop to solve sigil riddles but can steadily progress through the environment at your own pace.

I agree, they should have made that the game.
Then you had some unfair and annoying passages (at least before the patch)...
Succubus Mode, on the other hand, is pure mindless violent fun and I loved every minute of it.
Also Agony mode really completes this game as a full package, adding replayablity and variety to always know that you can enter a different Hell whenever you want with fresh challenges.
You have to complete the story mode first.
I only took a short glimpse at Agony Mode so far but it could be highly addictive.
I was lazy and use another save game
