The controls & A.I are clunky and awkward and make what could be a fun experience more frustrating than anything else.
I think they did video that show what content was removed. Two ending scene was removed or modified and to get these you have to complete story several times.
PS: you will die lot in this game. It's part of journey.
Edit:
After you really start to play you don't notice that female models are missing someting.
Edit: To even clarify further on the censorship issue. Again. "I can't see a demon's c*nt!" Okay, you're not going to sit there for five minutes stroking yourself to a demon. Female demon shows up? Die or run. Not fap first, then consider what next.
Thanks! Too bad the gameplay was not effective, but I read a lot of texts claiming the design of the HELL to be gratuit. I mean...if you are religious... if you really believe this concept...how can any design be gratuit? I loved the aesthic creative-wise. Maaaaaybe I'll give it a try someday, in a sale.
It started as a kickstarter campaign... Trailers of development showed a much more intense content both in violence and sexual... I didn't back it, but many people bought into this premise. The game was daring like nothing we've seen before. They even released a playable demo for backers with really disturbing stuff, which was the selling point of the game. Of course the game core still here, but they had to cut stuff off in order to release it on Steam and consoles... however they lied about it. They said only bits of some of the endings were cut off.. but after release more and more players started to find more and more censored stuff that was in the demo but removed from final game. Understandable, but the developer wasn't honest about it and sold crowed funded a product that was not exactly what was delivered.
Latest news is, they are trying to get a fully uncensored version of the game in GOG... which also annoyed people who already bought on Steam and are over the refund allowance. I myself bought it but was only 70 mins in when I found out about all of this.. so I refunded and waiting to buy again later when all this is sorted. Maybe an optional patch or even an "official mod" to be downloaded elsewhere etc... I want to play what the original vision for the game was... as disturbing and outraging it might have been.
Clunky as in a demon ripped a hole in my chest, but my spirit can't move because it's stuck in a wall.
Clunky as in demon on patrol steps on an invisible piece of the landscape and glitches back and forth light a strobe light.
Cool bro, not had that problem. I wasn't stupid enough to keep holding forward when an 'obstacle pebble' got in the way. Walk around? I dunno. Magic I guess.
Cant because character has lodged into the environment.
Dead.
As I said, been making my way through. They already made the game ridiculously more easy. Less demons, literal suns lighting rooms with no actual lighting in the room. Sounds like a personal problem, eh?
Pc Players have mixed opinions so they either love or hate it
Console players seem to love it
I wouldnt trust too many people on here because they're group trolling thats why people are getting banned in here. I recommend going to twitch and asking one of the people playing it they'll straight up tell you.
There are some AI glitches that i dont like but the overall game is awesome keep in mind this is the first week usually in time all the bs gets fixed. They havent fixed the Gamma glitch where if you turn it up to high it makes a fog like effect but you can still see whats going on. I feel like they might need to look at outlasts color grading system and try to go that route.
Nothing like thinking you got lucky and are in the clear onliy to have a demon bi tch come up from behind and do something really bad to you. Then you float around looking for a new body. You barely make it to one, only to have another demon come from behind a corner (or drop out from above) and do some more bad things to you.
Don't buy the "boring walking simulator" load of crap from butthurt incels that are sore that they took out modeled vagene to keep the M rating.
