Hello! Update 0.5.1 has been released for Eclipse Anomaly Research; I will also be revealing details about the upcoming Swamp of Insanity DLC.

What's New:

Added Casual Anomaly Research Mode.
Post Processing Adjustments (The Painted Smile + Base Game)
Casual Mode Adjustments.
Adjustments to gameplay systems.
Menu Fixes.

Eclipse Anomaly Research - Swamp of Insanity DLC News:

Swamp of Insanity will be the 2nd DLC to release for Eclipse Anomaly Research & will be free much like The Painted Smile. Timothy Reeds takes the lead in DLC 2, taking place before the events of the main story. Timothy Reeds becomes infected by the swamps bog & must rush to put together a cure, witness the night where it all began & discover how the swamp monster came to be. Swamp of Insanity is planned for a late September release & will be completely free!

DLC Roadmap:

Eclipse Anomaly Research is planned to have 3 DLCs in total with smaller updates in-between each DLC, the content plan will work as followed:

The Painted Smile DLC 1 (Released)
Update 0.5.1 (Released)
Swamp of Insanity DLC 2 (Upcoming)
Update 0.5.2 (In Development)
Erased DLC 3 (In Development)

Eclipse Anomaly Research – The Painted Smile DLC is now available FREE for everyone!

The DLC launches alongside Update 0.5.0, which brings a variety of fixes and improvements to the base game.

To celebrate the release, Eclipse Anomaly Research is also on sale!

Eclipse Anomaly Research – The Painted Smile

Taking place weeks after the main story, a new protagonist, Haylee Myers, is sent to an abandoned hotel after the ERU determines that an anomaly outbreak has occurred.

Survive 5 nights until extraction while investigating and reporting anomalies. But Haylee must also keep a terrifying new threat at bay if she hopes to make it out alive.

Casual Mode Update 0.4.7 | DLC Reveal

Hello! A new update is now live for Eclipse Anomaly Research. I will also be revealing details about the upcoming DLC Story Expansion!

What's New:

New Casual Mode
Improved Game Saving System
Fixed an issue that caused the ending to not display correctly
Adjusted quotas in some modes
Foliage adjustments
Minor bug fixes

Casual Mode:

The new Casual Mode is designed for players who prefer a more relaxed story experience.

Casual Mode features linear nights with no randomized stages like Normal Mode. Quotas have been reduced, and the mode includes 5 nights instead of the 10 nights found in Normal Mode.

The same story completion achievements can be unlocked in both Casual Mode and Normal Mode.

ECLIPSE ANOMALY RESEARCH — THE PAINTED SMILE DLC

I am excited to reveal that Eclipse Anomaly Research will be receiving a free story expansion DLC!

The Painted Smile takes place after the events of the main story and follows Haylee Myers as she investigates an abandoned hotel for the Eclipse Research Unit.

The expansion will feature 5 nights of anomaly focused gameplay, including:

A new location
New anomalies
New Jestress Threat
New Story

The Painted Smile is planned to release within the next few weeks, and the DLC will be completely free for all players.

Filled with bugs

Most of the time it won't recognise clicks when trying to open/close or lock/unlock doors. On-screen text is usually very, very tiny. Subtitles are totally mismatched with timing of dialogue - and may contain different sentences, but cannot tell because of timing. Can't see much of anything, even with torch on. First run of tutorial got soft-locked as it wouldn't recognise right-click to exit camera mode at all. Gave up. Uninstalled....
