🌎 Now in Spanish and Polish

Cosmic Survivor can now be played in Spanish and Polish. Menus, story, tutorial and achievements have been translated. Choose your language in the Options screen.

💾 Campaign save notice

The game now lets you know that your campaign is saved and that you can pick it up later where you left off.

🎨 Visual updates

An ancient monolith now floats in the background of boss phases, and the cruiser passing through the scenery has new art.

🔧 Fixes

The Relaxed mode panel no longer overlaps its buttons when the text is long.
The language screen now shows every available language, with labels that fit their buttons.

Good hunting, pilots. 🚀

Mouse control

Hello, I have multiple screens and there is no option to lock the mouse in the game screen so it's really hard to play with it and it forces me to play with the keyboard. Do you think you can add this option ?

☄️ Giant Red Meteor

In the later Meteor Shower phases, a giant rock crosses the screen covering half the playfield. A warning shows where it will fall — get out of the way!

🚀 Fleet strafing runs

In the later Enemy Fleet phases, armored gray ships tear across the screen at high speed. They can't be destroyed, but a warning marks where they'll pass.

⚓ A more dangerous cruiser

In the Ship Graveyard, staying under the cruiser now also drains your energy faster and makes your ship judder.
Good hunting, pilots. 🚀

🎓 Clearer Dom tutorial

The first-run onboarding got a full polish pass:

Dom's first hint now waits 2.5s (up from 1s) — a moment of free control before the first tip.
Moving the ship with WASD now dismisses the movement hint on its own, no need to click OK — but the bubble stays visible for at least 1.5s first, enough time to read that shooting is automatic.
Clicking or pressing a key while a confirm-required hint is blocking the game now shakes Dom's bubble instead of silently swallowing the input.
Confirm hints (which pause the game) now look visually distinct from passive hints: a thicker border, a slow glow pulse, and a light dark veil over the world.
On the weapon select screen, the grid and CONFIRM button now only appear after Dom's hint is answered, instead of competing for attention side by side.

🛒 More direct demo ending

The demo's end screen now has a single Steam button ("BUY ON STEAM"), removing the redundant option that led to the same store page without going straight to the cart.

🛠️ Under the hood

Performance optimization in the enemy bullet perpendicular calculation, removing a per-frame array allocation.
Good hunting, pilots. 🚀
