How can I join a faction?

So, I really want to be a vassal of Cossacks. But everytime I talk with this Bogdan dude, he doesn't say anything about that.

*I have 150+ renown.
*My relationship with the cossacks is like 45 or more.
*My honour points, 13.
*Hetman Bogdan is my friend.
*Nice relationship with other lords.
BUT, I started the quest of the Black Mace (I'm seeking a polish guy). Does this has anything to do with the fact that I'm not allowed to join them? Because I saw in a couple of sites that this might be a bug.
I was a merc from Cossacks as well, for 6 months. But now I'm not even allowed to do that again.

So, if this is a bug, there is some patch or cheat that can solve it? I just want to be a cossack vassal. Thanks in advance.

if you started the quest "THE BLACK MACE" of the cossacks hetamante that means you already pledged allegiance to the cossacks and you cannot join other faction, besides when you start a story quest you can't go back and join other factions.

I really dont care your comment just you re white of me and you should go to ruler of kingdom but you should be powerful too.And every faction has skills that other factions have not.Like if u ll choose Crimean Khanate you ll have a horse archers.Polish Commonwealth's cavalries are tough and powerful.Sweden's infantries are anti of many cavalries.Tsardom's musketeers are good.Cossacks have many type of musketeer.Cossacks have Black Mace(really powerful) and it s really hard to get.you can find informations on internet about it.

Hey, Did you get any information about this ?
I have the same problem, I´m a good friend of Hetman, i already had an option to join Cossacks but i didn´t join them (Beacouse wiki says i cant be a member of Cossacks to start The black maze) And now the polish guy won't join me. And i can't join Cossacks. Did i ♥♥♥♥ up or can i fix it somehow

Last i know is you must have not given yourself to any other lord/king. after get on good relation with there leader and the nation itself then all you need is a little renown and ask then i think 10/15 renown will do it does for me most cases.

As far as I know, we are ♥♥♥♥♥♥, yeah. There's no point of return. So I went through the black mace story, now I joined with the polish guy, and I'm against the Polish army. At least I have one city now...
Why can't you ally with him? Just get more renown (200+) by fighting weak crimean armies.

As far as I know, we are ♥♥♥♥♥♥, yeah. There's no point of return. So I went through the black mace story, now I joined with the polish guy, and I'm against the Polish army. At least I have one city now...
