A New friend - save the Royal blacksmith

Does anyone know how to do it?

I've been hoping someone would reply to this post with a clear answer, because I missed this achievement. I'm about to start a second play through. The best info I could find is from the achievement guide, translated from Russian:

"The quest is taken in the location of the swamp camp. After taking the quest of the moonshiner, the location “Guard” opens, in which we tell the guard that the blacksmith was sucked into the swamp, showing the ring."

Okay, I just got the "New Friend" (Save the Royal Blacksmith) achievement. I found that I had a backed up save file from before this quest was completed so fortunately, I didn't have to start from the beginning. Just to add to the above information, you first have to start the quest from the Smuggler (also at The Camp Near the Swamp) to build a flying ship. As part of that quest, you need to get a boiler from the Moonshine Man, who can be found at the first Camp location. He wants you to steel a barrel of hooch from the guards, unlocking the "Guard" location on the map. Go to this location, talk to the guard and select the following dialog options, "I want to report a fugitive on the run", "I took this ring off his body", and "That's all I was able to take off his body, everything else got sucked into the swamp". Then go back to the Camp Near the Swamp and talk to Blacksmith to get the achievement.

If you need, I can give you a game save file from before the quest is given (just after the Camp Near the Swamp is unlocked).

It has been a long time...almost a year. Give me a day to load some backup files and see what I still have. I'll post back here if I have anything that might be useful.

Looks like I still have the save file. I'm pretty sure this is it, as it's in a folder named "Camp near the swamp unlocked". I made the file available for download here:
