Bug Report: Characters are completely invisible?

Okay, I'm not really sure how else to put this, but the title is pretty self explanatory. The characters I've created were working just fine for the first few days I had the game, but now they are completely invisible. I've tried updating my graphics driver, disabling Steam and Discord game overlay, as well as running the app as an administrator. The only way I can tell if there's a character on screen is when im unable to click on certain things.

Added to this, occasionally the gift icon will pop up, but that's it. Uninstalling hasn't even fixed it :( It sucks, because I was really starting to enjoy this little desktop pet game but now I cannot see them.

(Ive also tried the quick recover buttons that come with the demo)
