Taskbar disappearing

When I open the game my taskbar at the bottom of my screen disappears, I was wondering if anyone has the same issue or if anyone has a fix for this!

I think it might be due to the game technically being in full screen, so you'd have to press the Windows button to see it again (assuming you're on Windows, haha). It kinda sucks, but turning off "Always on Top" and selecting another window (browser, etc.) will let you see the Taskbar again.

Yeah I thought so, I hope they add in a setting to customize resolution then! I like having my little guys always on my screen hahahahaha

im having the same issue!! it's odd because for all of my friends it's working fine?! just putting my 2 cents in so you know youre not alone (+I want to be able to find this in case anyone has a solution)

Same issue! Could you maybe see if you can add a windowed mode that works? Not sure if it's possible, but I would rather have a little window with my companions that is obviously a window than having to chose between my taskbar and the companions. It also seems to disable notifications on the taskbar, so when Discord gets pings or something.

Does this happen every time you start it up, or only occasionally?

Every time! It has to do with how Windows handles full screen applications, I believe, as it also happens with some other games I play. It's why my go-to is windowed full-screen normally. A window but the size of my screen.

This happens every time! And I agree with the previous comment, having a windowed full screen version would solve the issue I think!

Unfortunately it's still happening when I updated the game and relaunched it :( Really appreciate the quick update though!

Still happening for me as well. The moment the characters pop up the taskbar stays hidden.
