Game opening and asking to be reinstalled even after I've removed it from my account

The game is very cute but I was concerned that even after closing the game, when I started up my PC the next day the game is already running.
A friend of mine uninstalled the game and said that they kept getting asked to reintall it when they would load up their computer. I did the same and even after uninstalling and removing the game from my account. When booting up my computer steam instantly opens and I get a prompt to reinstall the game.

This looks insanely shady and makes me worried about the program. I've seen others show concern about how it still keeps count of keyboard presses even when closed.
I wanted to send this discussion out to see if others are experiencing the same thing and what it means or what can be done about it. Thank you.

Have you checked if you have the "Boot up game on pc startup" thing marked? Its within the games settings. Can be found when you click on the desktop pet. Maybe thats what making it act up? Pretty sure I saw someone else have a similar issue on here. Hopefully it helps. Also I agree about the keyboard presses...Praying its inoffensive and just a mistake from the devs.

Thank you for the comment so quickly. I had to reinstall the game cause even after I had deleted the games files it was still asking me to reinstall it.

I checked that box that stops it launching on start and repeated the process of uninstalling it, deleting it from my profile and then deleting the files and emptying the bin on my comp. That seemed to fix it. I'm hoping this is just some strange bug with it being a demo. But it makes me worry. I probs wont be reinstalling it until the full version comes out. :/

We've fixed this issue in the latest version and included a solution for users who have already uninstalled the game in our announcement.
