Fruit Ninja VR
VERY WELL DONE but how they getting those high scores? (global?)
agonizing - HOW TO GET A BETTER SCORE!? how in the world do the GLOBAL scores get achieved. I'm like 2000th. Luckily makes me want to play it again and again but doing well (so I THINK) I'm still 2000th or so.

Hi Ron

Some people have been quite dedicated with those scores. We have some extra things coming in the way of leaderboards to make it more attainable for everyone including potentially a weekly leaderboard and friends leaderboard. Those scores are possible, but you really have to stick at it.

I held #4 for Zen, and pretty high for Classic and Arcade (top 15 and top 100) the last time I played. I expect that to have changed a lot by now though

For clasic, take your time. You need accuracy over speed. Combo's are secondary and won't save you from a bomb blast.
Every 100 milestone removes an X, this is marked by a sound

For Arcade and Zen, Combo's are your friend.
The next batch of fruit won't launch until everything has been cut or hit the ground. So speed is key.

You can also stab fruit with your sword to stockpile them (max 5 on each blade)
They don't 'cash in' until you cut them in half, so mix this with a string of fruit and you get some pretty awesome combo's.
This also works for banana powerups

You don't need need to hit all the fruit with one blade to get a combo. Both blades count towards the same combo if swung in unison. So if my left blade hits 2, and right blade hits 1, thats a +3 combo

Practice combo's in Zen where there are no bomb threats, then move to arcade and try a mix of accuracy.
If you are burnt out, switch to clasic and focus on your aim

Happy swinging!

Can you make a regional leaderbord as in Audioshield? That would be nice!

Hi Enois. Yes that is also possible. We are going to be doing an investigation into what is the best for everyone coming very soon.

Thanks

I'm currently #2 in arcade and #16 in classic. It's a matter of developing skill. Once you learn the physics, it comes down to how fast you can adapt to the game.

May I throw in a request for Local leaderboards as well? This is the perfect type of game to compete with family and visiting friends in.

Yes you absolutely may. We are hoping to have them in for everyone very very soon. I don't want to give a timeframe just in case something happens, but it should be in the very next update.

regarding local leaderboards, I think Trackmania has something interesting;
You could see the ranks in the following order
Local pc> city> province (> if US : State ) > Country > Global Zones (Asia, europe, north-america, ect.) > World

W+M1 Yes I like how Trackmania does leaderboards. But that isn't "local" leaderboards :)

Recently someone has (most likely hacked) a score in classic of 1,200,000 fruit which is interesting...

Oh yeah, hacked without a doubt. He has 1mil+ on all three modes. Then you go to his profile and he has multiple bans on his account. A known hacker with clearly impossible scores.

Here's the link to the leaderboards, for easy reference.

And his profile.

Take a look at those scores while you can, I imagine they'll be gone soon, haha.
