Fruit Ninja VR
Menu disapeared
This morning when I played fruit ninja vr I couldn't restart a game after the game ended because the menu's are not appearing anymore. Any kind of help would be appreciated.

Hi joe83420, I'm QA on the project. Can you please tell me what Build ID number is showing up for you on Steam? You can find it by right clicking on Fruit Ninja VR on the side bar, select Properties, go to Local Files and it should have the Current Content Build ID down the bottom. We'll investigate this issue today and hopefully have some more information for you soon. Thanks!

Thanks for that. We're trying to reproduce it on our end now. Is it happening every time and is it in any specific mode? Until we have some more information for you it might be worth verifying the integrity of the game cache, just to make sure everything was pulled correctly.

Yes I verified integrity and the problem still persists. It is all the time in every mode, I have to exit the game and launch it again in order to play another round. It was working fine yesterday but I started having trouble this morning. If I am not mistaken, I think I recall fruit ninja VR downloading something this morning when I opened up steam. Maybe there was an update that is causing these issues on my side?

Thank you, we'll look into and hopefully have a solution for you soon :) One last thing, are you using the Super Sampling tweak at all or playing offline when it's occurring and could we please grab your computer specs as well?

Yep that seems to have done it, no more disapearing menu's for me. Thanks for being so responsive. Now I just have to fix my stutter when cutting multiple fruits and fruit ninja is Gold.

This is happening to me on all modes other than "Zen". Any idea how to fix this?

Hi Rockoman, if verifying the integrity of your game cache doesn't work let me know. That solved most of the issues we encountered during testing (that weren't definite bugs). If that doesn't work, let me know and I'll add it to our bug database.

I am having the same problem as described above. The menus do not appear after a game. I just verified integrity and am still having the same problem. All drivers and software (Steam) are up to date.

Same here. Need to restart everytime I finish a game which is rather tedious. I'm using Oculus software version 1.20.0.501061.

Update: As mentioned after this post. DON"T start through Oculus dashboard, start directly through steam and it will work. This is true for other games I have tried as well (ex. Zombie Training Simulator).

Same thing happens to me. I just bought and installed the game moments ago.

Fruit Ninja build ID is 1553874. Oculus software version 1.20.0.501061. Win 10 Home x64.
