The Xmas sword recently unlocked because we updated the achievement to allow all users to get it.
The other blade you can unlock is based on an achievement. But the Halloween blade was a prize during available for a tournament and can no longer be won.
Just three unlockable swords in the whole game, and one of them is permanently locked out now? What happened to the customization that Fruit Ninja is known for? Despite the VR capabilities, this seems like a downgrade from previous titles.
As a mobile developer, this is a ridiculous comment. Of COURSE it can be a downgrade, and in this case, IT IS. There are fewer customization options, glaring bugs that the dev team is refusing to address, almost no unlockables, and fewer modes. How is it NOT a downgrade? Fruit Ninja on mobile is a polished, excellent classic. Fruit Ninja in VR is a half-finished mess without ongoing developer support. Know your tech? What are you talking about?
I'll still enjoy this, but this is so disappointing to here. I wonder if they'll ever open this up for Steam Workshop for people to add their own blades or dojos.
