Is there a way to carry more or stock more items?
Each member of my crew can only carry 2 items each, which gets difficult to deal with when I come across so many items. Is there a way to stock them in a stronghold or get a bigger inventory space?

After you get a strong hold, you should really hire a quartermaster to keep your stuff.

To get an inventory space, you will need to level up on utility and gain an ability to expand yout inventory.

Level 3 Labour . Mule - You carrying load increase by one. [Stacks with Extra Pockets and Magic Bag]

Level 2 Thwart. Extra Pockets - You carrying load increase by one. [Stacks with Mule and Magic Bag]

Level 4 Weave4. Magic Bags - You carrying load increase by one. [Stacks with Mule and Extra Pocket]

if you get them all, you will have a total of 5 invemtory space. I also suggest checking out Grimnir's guide. It takes a little bit of time to load because a lot of people are viewing it

If you have a stronghold, check the upper left corner of your screen and click BASE and choose quartermaster. After this go to a dungeon and return to your stronghold and when click ITEMS, you will see additional space for your items available.

It is a service so it will consume 1 point of your available party member provided so make sure you have enough manpower and tents (The lower left corner)

Press f1 to see more information on your stronghold or watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bw4CDrYNqeQ especially on 18:15

Yeah, its really difficult to get the basics at the start but once you do, it's easy. Also just use food as possible, don't waste it on inventory space

Also remember MANPOWER, most players miss special NPCs by not having enough space. If you have zero in your tent (check the the lower left corner of your screen) make it a priority in getting a better stronghold. I hope you got Kirilo already because that what most players miss and you can't get him again

I still have the Marina as my base. I have four characters in my party. My initial two, Bato and Kirilo (I think . . . the green guy). I have a quartermaster and porter, and my tent is at zero, so I can't recruit anybody. I want to have room to recruit more guys, but I think the quartermaster and porter are essential.

So far, I have not found any locations that are even close to my manpower. I have nearly 1500 if I remember correctly. The abandoned residence I think is the closest at 2000 or so.

Am I doing something wrong? Am I just not pumping enough into utility skills? I'm usually putting every other skill point into utility for all my dudes.

You should set up a strong hold at the burning void or lightfoot lodge which can support 8. But the best though is a DILAPITATED COTTAGE, it can support 10 and only for 665 upkeep, near the south of the map (Under the E in knight Eastwood) if you can, recruit one thrall because they are lawful and really great for manpower. Every map has an Upkeep, try to see it on the right corner of your screen

So early on that porter might not be as essential as a vacancy for someone to get more manpower. You def want that quartermaster though. How i leveled everyone was to have 3 main guys focus on combat stuff and not worry about utility and then cycle out the 4th to keep everyone else leveled and level those people on utility skills. A big thing is to go for the skill in labour that doubles their manpower contribution. Otherwise it's just a matter of continuing to recruit people while moving strongholds to get more space.

Thank you both.

Weird32 - I haven't gotten that far east yet, but I'm very close. I'll make a beeline to that Dilapidated Cottage!

cube89 - so, can you get through the game with just three combat guys? Is that enough as the game gets tougher?

As for recruiting - I haven't met anybody else yet that I can recruit. Should I be trying to recruit random monsters? Is that what a thrall is, one of the monsters? I don't recall if I have fought any of them or not yet. I'll pay better attention. I have just been ransoming everyone for loot, and not even trying to recruit, other than the main guys like Kirilo and Bato.

I always prioritize recruiting over ransoming, it's the main way to get more guys. Almost every enemy can be recruited, and you will prolly know if they are important enough, you won't even get the option.

You should definitely be able to get by with just 3 powerful mains because letting them ignore utility helps make them overpowered and then any utility focused character is still no slouch if you give them a bow and keep them from being targeted by bad guys.

if you're bringing utility guys on missions, make sure to give them a ranged wep that way they dont get wrekt. Despite the large hp values they have they generally have lo def and attack, so its a good way of keeping them in the fray, but directly out of the fray

Giants and golems usually have Pack Mule, which maxes out their inventory capacity at 5.
