Forming Bonds with the animals and mindless SOLVED

Ok I have been playing for hours with my party of 6. Have a grasp on how to get bond tokens by gaining xp and talking at the stronghold

I have already form bonds with my prison buddy and Bato but my wolfy friend doesn't like me :(. Even got Kirilo's bond token and I recruited him last. This is my first time recruiting animals, usually I just recruit sprites that I created or demons with high magics

Just curious on what my wolf friend is capable of saying in his campfire scene "bow wow u best master , give you favorite chew toy" or something like that.

If it is possible to bond with creatures that have a level of intelligence like Sasquach, bandits, etc... I think that bonding with animals should be possible. I just got a mimic recently, so i don't exactly know yet.

Sasquaches are an intelligent monsters . This the first time for me bonding with an animal. (And I tried recruting bandits (not the Custom made ones) and they don't hestitate

Thanks. Because I think I'm wasting time grinding. I'm already level 11, formed a soul because I have aqquried so many daggers replaying dungeons over and over again but only have 2 achievements

Ok I have been giving my wolf at least 3 love potions now and no improvement on his mood. Also got already bond from greening w/o love potions

I got specific confirmation from the dev that animals and other "mute" creatures do NOT bond.

Meh...mostly I'm just sad I'll never have a scene where the starving wolf from the first level outside the tutorial I recruited will never have a campfire scene where he just plods up to me with a bone or something in his mouth and puts it in my lap and that's his bond token because he's the best puppy.

I -thought- I disabled those scenes with unintelligent creatures. Perhaps you've found a condition I hadn't thought of or something?

So did you get your Starving wolf to bond. Actually tried recruiting him but because he is too low leveled, I just usually kill him. Maybe I should just reset one of characters also to get him 1 heart.

The very first time I ever played through, I got the Starving Wolf to hesitate and let him go. Ever since then, I try to do the same, and then come back when I have someone with BeastTongue to recruit him. He has huge penalties, but it doesn't matter, because he is my puppy and I love him. <3

Just got him learned that by using the statue, it erases all including specials and penalties.
