You can trick it or get training from Son Goku,

There is three option, become his disciple, say "human apologise" then "it's boring too" then leave before Oni return, third is if you are trained as demon slayer by Son Goku but it is end-game option.

And its no way to beat him?

It's only 99.9% impossible to beat him in combat. I've had play testers pull it off, but it's really really hard. I wouldn't bother trying unless you figure out some really strong exploits or something.

aside the fact he also drops a sword which is worth 50000 xp and oneshots every enemy in the game instantly.

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ him by spending ancestral points in 50% miss chance and 50% avoiding fatal damage. You can still get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ back tho.

ez way to kill oni even at hard difficulty

1. start with the character with the specialty of man under estimate you (all onis are male)

2. max out your strength

3. max out your Judan stance

4. have any +20% damage sword (through mountain upgrade)

5. have a sushi that gives you +3 str


meet an oni

before the fight starts, eat the sushi

start the fight by telling oni "DIE!"

slash his head

I just beat him on Normal using nothing special but Judan slash spamming his head. He was always trying to parry it but damage went through until he was dead. Not sure how much I spent on speed / strength / Judan, but it was totally not maxed out (maybe only Judan was)
