Roleplay Character bios/info!
I suppose I should do this, so if you see me on the roleplaying server you know some things about the character, yeah? Feel free to remove if this isn't necessary! Now, on to the stats.

Papa Grr is a lynx of male gender; he's sired no cubs, as he's uninterested in the opposite gender; and is partnered with Onion. (W-Cactus)

Describing him; he's rather large in size, and what comes with that is great strength. To match his strength, is his speed. Though while he excels in the speed and strength department, he lacks in stamina and cannot chase a target for too long. He prefers hunting at night, as his pelt matches the atomosphere.

His social skills is also where he's lacking as well, as he's very rude and sarcastic. Quick to be blunt with truth, or a crude comment. (I use the "hiss" voice by default to show this.) He prefers to be alone, rather than with company. Rarely ever is he "nice" to others. He's a real stick in the mud.

That's pretty much all for now.~ Any and all questions are encouraged!! Especially if you'd like to fill the currently empty role of mate/adopted cub! Don't be shy to post your own character bio here as well!! I'd love to see them!

Thanks for reading!

Alright. I too have something to say in this.

So.

My Lynx, Eba, is of the female gender and is now a fully-grown cat. She is quite interested in her own gender and is without a partner.

There is one major detail that I must say, though...

...she has been raised by a Pheasant! This Pheasant, I must add, found my Lynx abandoned in a small cave, completely covered in lichen (and mushrooms). Eba was still just a mere cub, hungry and tired. Their name? Oh...

Henrietty Tailwind (AKA: eSKEUmo). Gender? Questionable. (Although, they have confirmed that they are a female Pheasant, but apparently "her" village was suffering a shortage of male Pheasants due to the Great War of the Foxes and Pheasants. SO, this lead to "her" having male coloration of feathers!)

(In all honesty, I do not believe Henrietty.)

Henrietty also tends to spend time with this other, lovely Pheasant named Peasant Pleasant. Peasant tends to strut her tail feathers around Henrietty because it's a tradition within the Pleasant family.

Unfortunately, due to Eba being raised by a Pheasant all from her cub years, Eba believes that she... IS A PHEASANT!!! My poor, feeble Lynx has been conditioned to only eat corn, frozen corn, and watermelon as Henrietty taught her to never be a carnivorous creature of the wild.

To add to that, due to Eba's lack of meat in her diet, she tends to pretend that she is a chicken wherever she goes! (AKA: Spamming the "confused" emoticon!) This poor lack of meat has rendered her brain to be utterly damaged, baffling all who encounter her.

Fortunately, being raised by a Pheasant has lead Eba to be the most biased Pheasant-supporter and will take charge at any of the Pheasants' predators! That being said, she is extremely protective of Henrietty Tailwind! (Eba has been known to sit on top of Lynxes and Foxes to prevent them from harming Henrietty!)

Well, that's all the information I can give for now about Henrietty, Eba and Peasant. If you're curious about more, just ask me -- Disharmonic Papayas -- or eSKEUmo. :D Bye bye!

Well I would like to take this opportunity to introduce one of my charaters, Luxor the dudebro goat.

He's a strapping young stud, kicked fresh out of his herd by a (clearly) jealous father, who could not stand the competiton.

Luxor is...how do you say... not the brightest peas in the pod... (I think ramming his head into everything remotely appearing to pose a challenge may not help), and to add to all that, puberty isn't helping either. He sees trouble, he rams into it head first.

He's easily recognisable, with his bright read skin and tear shaped spots, his complete lack of self preservation, hot temper, unbelievable ego, and... Fear of birds. Yes, this hot shot can take on a world of trouble, but god forbid a birdy got into the mix. Nuhu. Living things are meant to stay on the ground, thank you very much.

That said, ladies, Luxor IS single, and very much NOT interested in the other gender, or his own for that matters. Nope. Just wants to ram into things and finds pretty flowers, everyone has a soft spot after all. That and badgers. Something about a previous life. Don't ask...

@Callysto Wow, I really like your character description and somehow, it is resonates with my goat. I haven't tried role-play yet, but I keep in mind his personality traits :meadowgoat:

Great work, by the way, all of you, on creating and updating this discussion!

Okay, I think I'll also write about my characters here, for I like RPing with other people to no end. :D Feel free to write me if you're interested in teaming up! And note, that if you do, you'll have to put up with me rambling about my characters and trying to get you to write all the stories. :dotecrystal:

Note: I would very much like to find partners for Basalt, Tiger, Trickster and Sunflower, any friends for Banana and Waterfall and any companions for Gregory!

Onion
the Lynx
Grey and white patched fur, steely grey eyes, soft paws and fluffy ears - his appearance may be a little bland and sometimes makes Onion unnoticable, but his quiet nature is perfectly fine with this. Onion is also almost mute - old wound to his throat made lynx unable to make any sounds except quiet, pained hissing. Still he likes to be with other animals, even if he struggles to convey his thoughts sometimes. Onion is friendly, passive in companies, protective of others and likes to be silly and try to amuse his friends.
Existing relationships: friends - Alex, Hurricane; partner - Papa Grr (Daddy)
Looking for: younger brother/sister, friends of any kind.

Tiger
the Pheasant
Tiger is a bird to whom curiosity is a second nature. He will fly as far as he will be able to, just to see if he can reach the aurora or be an eagle greater than Basalt. He's chatty to the point of annoying, sometimes clueless and extremely brave. And, for some unknown for now reason, his feathers are light-grey, unlike those of the most of male pheasants. He has no patience whatsoever unless he's near someone very interesting and tends to jump up and down and fly in circles instead of just getting to his destination in a nice straight line. He's also clingy and easily attached, which sometimes ends badly for him - still, Tiger truly is an unstoppable force!
Existing relationships: best friend - Basalt; friends - all others on this list.
Looking for: female/male mate (of any kind! Imagine this guy trying to impress, say, a lady frog! :D), friends of any kind.

Basalt
the Eagle
Basalt is proud, cunning and a little over the top - his presence is imposing even when he doesn't mean it. As much as this bird is wise, he also gets extremely happy when other animals look at him in awe; which also means that he's not great with his own feathered kind who steal much desired attention. Basalt especially likes to help others, even if partly because of his own selfish ideas. He'll guide lost ones to theirs pack and searching ones to their destinations and then will fly back in the clouds after basking in gratitude. Still, selfish nature of the bird doesn't mean he can't also be brave and kind - it's just sometimes hard to notice under all the pride and narcissism.
Existing relationships: best friends - Tiger, Gregory; best frenemy - Red Lady; friend - Waterfall.
Looking for: female mate (of any kind! Preferably, a lynx), friends of any kind, adopted male/female child of any kind (you see, this bird will be thrilled if there will be someone looking up to him! :D).

Trickster
the Fox
Trickster is exactly what you will expect of a fox - sly, stealthy, cryptic and all the way mysterious. At least, not until someone will unexpectedly and very loudly scream over her head (thanks, Gregory) and she'll make a very undignified dash to the nearest cave. Trickster is friendly, though, and likes to show-off how fast and sleek she is and how her fur is great patchwork of brown, red and black, and how her eyes are piercing dark burgundy. Whay she can't do, however, is to deal with control - try to order this fluffy shadow around, and it will dissappear (normally, somewhere near her goat friend) as fast as she appeared.
Existing relationships: best friend - Gregory; friend - Sunflower.
Looking for: female/male mate, friends of any kind, another best friend of any kind.

Gregory
the Goat
Gregory is energetic, kind and friendly brown-furred goat who likes to wander around forests and enjoy great views of the nature. Even when he's in a big herd of his own kind, he rarely stays in the front, preffering to be the protector of all who get lost or struggles to keep up the pace. He still likes to be alone or with a friend or two way more, and loves to play catch with himself in the reddish colours of autumn forest. Gregory is rational enough to be caurious, but can easily forget reason if he gets too angry or too excited - both of those are hard to achieve, though.
Existing relationships: best friends - Grass Ear, Trickster, Basalt; friends - Sunflower, Banana, Waterfall.
Looking for: female/male mate, brother/sister, friends of any kind.

Sunflower
the Frog
Sunflower is a very careful, easily worried, pure-hearted frog with a deep-rooted fear of leaving water. You rarely will see her out of the endless streams of grasslad water net - for the only time Sunflower steps on the water is when there's someone he trust in close proximity. She's shy and doesn't often speak up, preffering to listen and sometimes comment, although she has a lot to speak about - from water lilies to the great waterfalls, beaty of the river in the light of aurora and mysteries on the bottom of the lake. Sunflower aso has a strange fascination with foxes - she likes to observe them whenever one comes close and has a good fox friend.
Existing relationships: friends - Gregory, Trickster, Waterfall, Saa.
Looking for: female mate of preferably frog or fox kind (but others work too! :D), friends of any kind, possibly sisters/brothers.

Grass Ear
the Rabbit
Grass Ear may be an old rabbit, but he still hops among the grass as the young and happy to live one - at least, for some time. This rabbit can't run for a long time and fastly exhaust his energy reserves, and that fact forces him to hide and stay out of big groups, which tend to become predators' targets. And for his friendly character it often becomes a cause for loneliness, for rarely you can find someone ready to just contently stroll around in company of one old rabbit. Still, Grass Ear is endlessly optimistic, even if cautious, and likes every quiet moment of peace and companionship.
Existing relationships: best friend - Gregory; friends - Banana, Waterfall, Ghost.
Looking for: friends of any kind, possibly younger rabbit friend for the role of apprentice.

Waterfall
the Bear Cub
Blue bear Waterfall is a picture of caution even more than most adults. At the fist glance, Waterfall may look like a coward - always hiding and cowering behind friends' backs, always reluctant to risk and even leave the safety for a minute. trying to stop his friends from the same. His quiet and doubtful personality, though, is a result of extreme worry about everyone around, and in the end he still follows - just to protect his less careful companions. He likes to ramble about flowers and sit near the fire, enjoying quiet nights somewhere in a safe cave.
Existing relationships: adopted sister/best friend - Banana; friends - Sunflower, Gregory, Grass Ear, Basalt, DJ, Saa.
Looking for: female/male childhood crush (:D), friends of any kind, brother/sister (please note that it will also make character related to a Banana, and that means trouble! :D).

Banana
the Lynx Kitten
Banana is a magnet for trouble. This purring golden-furred creature doesn't know what is it to stop and doubt - she charges right after her curiosity or some funny ideas leaving any doubts in the dust. She loves to joke and be the center of any conversation, she likes to shine in the light and, most of all, have fun - no matter how dangerous it sometimes can be. She is loud, friendly and bright, but the lack of reason often causes her to be selfish and cause trouble even when she herself doesn't notice it. Banana has a kind heart, but not anyone can make peace with her brash personality.
Existing relationships: adopted brother/best friend - Waterfall; friends - Grass Ear, Gregory, DJ, Saa.
Looking for: brother/sister, friends of any kind.

DJ
the Badger Cub
DJ is loud. That's his trademark personality trait. LOUD. Always howling at any moment if there ever will be any reason - thus, attracting all kinds of trouble even faster than his not too quiet friends. He's fast-witted and smart, can hide arguable well - and only that saves him so far from the results of his loudness. DJ is very sociable, likes to follow other animals around, as long as they are not trying to get rid of him, and enjoys company of anyone as loud as him to no end.
Existing relationships: best friend (adopted dad?) - Alex; friends - Banana, Waterfall, Nikolai.
Looking for: friends of any kind, possibly adopted brother/sisters/mother (the last one also will create some questions about relationship with Alex :D) .

Alex
the Badger
The badger of many great abilities, Alex is too melancholic to actually put a lot of them to any use. Slowly strolling across the grassland, Alex always enjoys the quiet and peaceful atmosphere far more than any colourful and loud big company. But as much as he's laid back, he also very protective of his family and friends - just try to hurt them, and you'll see all the fury of a contained hurricane set free.
Existing relationships: brother - Nik; best friend (adopted cub?) - DJ; friend - Onion.
Looking for: female mate, children, friends of any kind, possibly brother/sister.

PS: I can write way longer description, if you'd like. :D

I think I'll write about my characters here too since I enjoy roleplaying and I've been hanging out in the roleplay groves quite a bit. Anyone is welcome to have any type of relations with them, I would be overfilled with joy.

Cooper the Fox
This fox is more of a goofball than an actual hunter. He enjoys messing around and playing tricks on others; they're always meant to be played in good spirits, never meant to harm. He's very protective of others, unleashing the hunter he was born to be on whoever dares to harm his friends. He hates being instantly labeled as a predator-- just because he's a fox doesn't mean he's meat crazy, gosh-- and will fuss with anyone who instantly labels him so instead of actually using his words to explain to them that he means no harm. When the time comes for when he's hungry for meat, he'll usually prey on other's kills, waiting for the time they leave it unattended.

Artemis the lynx
Artemis is a very chill cat. She enjoys taking slow strolls or just sitting and chat with others. If she's not taking care of a cub she's less likely to hunt, prefering to eat crystals, maybe mixed with a small amount of meat. Even if she does not hunt much, Artemis very much enjoys the thrill of the chase. And if she just so happens to catch a kill while having a fun chase-- oops-- she will not let their death go in vane, thanking their spirit for their life and eat.

Jack(aboy) the rabbit
This black and white striped bunny is all for speed and energy. He loves running around, jumping in and out of bushes/tall grass, zipping through other's legs, jumping over them, continously jumping while chatting with another, just anything he can get his little body to do. And just like Cooper, Jack loves playing tricks on others-- again, all in fun. If he's around someone who's insanely bossy and won't listen to other's opinions his ever present good mood falls, he becomes less chatty, and just overall grumpy.

Dominico the goat
Dominico is a quiet, laid-back goat. He's the type to go with the flow and roll with the punches. He'll try diffuse a problem if one arises around him and shield others from harm. Dominico is very sociable and is welcome to any company, no matter if they're prey animals or predator animals.

I have a few left, but I need to think over them more.

Wow, I didn't expect so many amazing bios! Thanks everybody, they're all so good! I hope to see y'all 'round!! <3

i havent started to roleplay yet, but i want a basic outline for my characters before i start if thats ok? ^^;

my lynx is named Steppe, a young male lynx with the piebald skin. He is a jokester and is ironically good at hunting and hates kittens. He usually goes with whatever he can find to eat. he never fights, and usually just runs from rival males or females protecting their kittens (idk about lynx behavior, but if theyre anything like bears or lions males will often kill kits and mate with a female)

My goat is Esper, a skittish female goat with the 2nd skin. she sticks around the outskirts of herds and will probably run off at the slightest cracking of a stick.

My lynx is called Blind Nana, a very old and wise female badger with the final skin. she is a sassy little thing and usually keeps to herself. she has no cubs since she is so old.

my pheasant is lovingly dubbed Guillermo, who is very flirtatious and proud and harbors the black skin with a yellow face. he likes to jump around and chrip a lot.

i have an eagle named apollo, who likes to brag about how he's travelled to both the moon AND the sun (while this has happened, in roleplay it doesn't) leading to his name. he will usually watch animals but stay high up in the air as to not be seen.
A_Cheeky_Vixen Mar 21, 2017 @ 11:41am
I think this is going to end up in me posting animal by animal as I figure out their personnality...

On the menu today we have, Adhara the red fox.

In one word as a hundred, she is Mischief. Her favourite hobbie of all time is to create mayhem, run amonsgt a run barking and relishing the chaos that inevitably ensues, and the thrill of getting away in the nick of time. Her favourite game, wild goose chase (or pheasant in this case I suppose...)

If she gets a whiff of your child, though mother beware, for all her goofiness, once on the hunt, she becomes a skilful, tactical huntress, unrelenting and lethal. She will stalk her pray tirelessly for hours on end, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike.

She is a playful as she is ruthless, she is Fox.

On a lighter note though, nothing matters more to her than friends, and she'll take under her paw any and all who need help regardless of species, and will always hunt with honnour, never one to strike against those who cannot flee or defend themselves, and will prove a loyal companion to whomever is able to look past her sometimes vicious exterior.

Her law, survival of the fittest, but even the fittest sometime need a helping hand.
Moggie Mar 26, 2017 @ 3:36pm
Hi! I've been having a great time on the new RP grove and would love to share my animals' characters too:

Sigrun - Female - Fox - Skin No. 1

Sigrun is a cautious, sly but not altogether cold creature - she's not looking for a fight, but will do, to the death if needed, in order to protect her (imaginary) cubs - they stay in their den in the swamp area (under the tree roots) and wait for their mother to return with food. Unfortunately, Sigrun catches little - she is a fairly inexperienced hunter and can spend long periods of time mousing in the long grass (i.e. jumping up and down ;) ) because of this, Sigrun does her best to take advantage of any oppurtunity to get food that comes her way, and will often stealthily follow other predators, trying to stay out of their sight, to see if they unintentionally lead her to a good hunting site or leave behind scraps - she'll even risk stealing food when their back is turned if she can. However, she would not take a lynx cub or bear cub, for she sees them as too similar to her own offspring and could not bring herself to kill one. She is naturally wary but can sometimes be persuaded to make friends with another kindly animal, or group of animals, especially if it increases her chances of bringing food home to her cubs, which are never far from her mind.

Finna - Female - Lynx - Skin No. ? (will edit when I've checked)

Finna is a warm, kindly lynx with a big heart. She can sometimes be grumpy but is extremely loyal to whoever she befriends on her travels. She rambles aimlessly, merely looking for adventure.

Theo - Male - Bear Cub - Skin No. 1
Theo is a cuddly, bumbling bundle of brown fur who spends a lot of his time lonely, as he lost his Mum not long ago and is endlessly searching for her, whilst trying to avoid foes as best he can. However, anyone who can break through his cautious nature will find him to be a very friendly bear indeed. As he is without his Mum, he tends to latch onto other adult animals he makes friends with as a surrogate parent, following them around and looking to them for reasurrance.

That's all for now, will edit this post if I give any of my other animals bios. Thanks! :steamhappy:
Dustfur-Rabbit-Male-Skin Defaut

Dustfur is a scared eastern cottontail. He flees at even the sightest sign of danger. Even if he smells something in the distance he doesn't like checking it out in case he runs into a predator.
He hates eagles the most since he can't always run from them.
The only thing he kinda trusts is bears but he learned that not everybear is friendly
W-Cactus Apr 18, 2017 @ 12:31pm
I have two new characters, so why not bump this topic back to the top. :dotecrystal:

Red Lady of The Woods (or just Red Lady)
the Goat
Red Lady is a figure of legends. She appears when you are searching, and to the object of your search she will lead you. A lot of tales are here bout this goat, and yet - she's still just a mortal who managed to create that mysterious aura around her. A natural leader, Red Lady is imposing, easily noticeable and always knows what's happening around. She cares about whoever sticks with her and can esily outspeak and outwit others - at least, if didn't they manage to really rile her up. For all that she is a good leader, Red has a very short temper and can't deal with any competition with her power. Which causd her to become great rivals with Basalt - you can't have those two together without fireworks and petty fights. She's also may or may not be secretively lonely and romantic, but too pushy and powerful to actually find anyone to love.
Existing relationships: best frenemy - Basalt; friend - Gregory.
Looking for: female mate of any kind, friends of any kind, possibly adopted daughter.

Ghost
the Rabbit
Ghost is a white rabbit with bluish grey eyes, who lives in the northern part of the land. Ghost is secretive and prefers to stay alone, or at least at some distance from others. He's not easily found and even harder to convince to do anything. And yet he travelled for a long time in snow and fog, among mountains and frozen lakes, and knows a lot of the ways of this land. Other animals will seek him out, should they have a need of something in the punishing winter forests, but not to many he will show. And yes, he loves being mysterious wise man of winter. Which doesn't stop him from being careless himself and getting in trouble for the silliest of reasons.
Existing relationships: friend - Grass Ear.
Looking for: ...no one?

Yup, those two are way more "mysterious" than others, but I like them. XD

PS: I'm still looking for someone who would like to ship characters RP together.

Name: Aspen

Species: Rabbit

Bio: Aspen is a 3 year old eastern cottontail. His pelt is orange with a white fluffy tail. He often tricks predators by running under them and biting at their tails then dashing away at lightning speed, sometimes he takes care of Lynx Cubs, bear cubs, and badger Cubs if the mother isn't around. He even helps lynxes catch prey using his superb speed to give the lynxes the upper hand(or should I say paw) on goats and other prey.
He gets along well with bear cubs and other rabbits and will never harm them.
He toys with pheasants a lot and bites them to get them to fly and then he chases them for the fun of it.

If anyone wants to Roleplay with me I will be happy too.

While I was playing on Roleplay Grove I developed 2 new characters!

Her name is Ayala. She's a female, and she's VERY protective of her friends/cubs. She will snap at foxes and deer that get too close to her and her cubs, and if the danger gets too frisky she'll attack and chase. She's wary of other lynxes, but she'll befriend them if they are nice.

Ayala's pelt is a beautiful brown colour, with white dappled spots scattered throughout her body. She looks like a fawn, in other words, thus the name Ayala.

The next one is called Aviur. I named him that because he's quite brash and arrogant. ..Idk, that personality just reminds me of the name Aviur. Anyway, he's also pretty snarky and clever. He loves eating all kinds of prey, varying from lynx cub to rabbit. If he has the chance he'll try to attack a sickly goat (but he never really succeeds). His pelt is a dark brown, with light brown splotches all over his fur.
