Though I'm omitting the BoT stuff as it's not relevant here.

As you may know, the video game industry is weathering a storm, and the team at Might & Delight have unfortunately not been spared from it.

Earlier this year, we had to make the incredibly difficult decision to scale down our team. It has been a rough year, and we’ve been silent on our social channels as we’ve been focused on our team – both the friends that we’ve had to say goodbye to, and the team that remains. We’re still settling into our new normal, but we wanted to let you know that we are here, we´re working on our games and there are some things that we want to share with you.

We’ve been around for nearly fifteen years as an indie game developer, and we have a long, proud history of making games. We believe in game preservation and we aim to make sure our games are available to anyone who has supported us throughout the years. As we make decisions for existing titles and future projects, please know that this will be our guiding principle.

Our team is smaller now, and we will need to be mindful of how many projects we work on simultaneously to ensure that we keep our team healthy and our projects manageable. However, our intention is to keep up maintenance of our existing titles, as well as finish development of projects that have been in the pipeline for a while.

Throughout this year, the one thing we’ve always come back to is the fact that we have such an incredible community. We’re not exaggerating when we say that you are the main reason that we have managed to weather all the changes of 2024, and fight for a chance to not only continue the support of our previous games, but also to be able to release something new.

A studio is only as good as its players, and we’re incredibly proud to have your support. Know that you can expect to see a lot more from us from now on.

2024 has been a turbulent and chaotic year (for many, not just in the video game industry) so we want to wish you all a peaceful and cosy end of the year. We really hope to start off 2025 with a sense of normalcy, and we want to be more active – both with our online presence, and with our upcoming patches and announcements.

Have an amazing Holiday and we’ll be in touch soon ❤
Cheers from all the developers at Might & Delight

Meadow's fate is so far unknown, however currently there is no one working on it.

Thanks Raz. This explains a lot. I noticed Jesper and Emilka seemed to have left MaD and how quiet the discord had become after so much activity before. It sounds like tough times for the team and I wish them well going forward from this in to 2025. I'll always love the games and will be grateful for however long they can be kept active. :meadowlovebadger:

Yeah :( it wasn't fun watching the team slowly fizzle out, though I'm still glad the game is still up.

Well said fishears, as hard is this is too hear, I am thankful for all the effort each of the MaD team put into Meadow as well as their other games. Thank you Raz for the info.
