There's no chat in Meadow! Every animal communicates through cute little emotes and calls, so you don't have to worry about people swearing and such. I'm loving it so far, you can convey a surprising amount through actions.

Yes! Like Peridot just said there's no text or voice chat, just emotes. You can also choose to hide your Steam name from others in the settings, and this also hides other user's Steam names from you. This way you won't have to worry about anyone from the game trying to add and chat with your child via Steam, if that is something you'd be worried about. :D

This just seems like an all around great little relaxation game for all ages.

If you jump off a cliff it just poofs you back to where you jumped from, though. :P

Well, you can't say you don't die. It gets blurry and you respawn

Let me see... There is no cursing, no bullying, nothing inaproppiate at all. There's just emotes and cute fuzzy animals. It's perfect for your 11 year old.

As others have said, it is fairly kid friendly

1. No chat, so no way for anyone to say anything inappropriate
2. No death, no violence (worst that can happen is you fall off the edge and respawn)

Kid friendly? It's the most friendly experience I have ever had inn my life, it's really mature in a way it should be.

Your kid will love that!

Ya, I bought it and sent it to her steam. She LOVES it! Totally recommend as a cheap gift for kids :)

Awesome, glad she likes it! :meadowlovebadger: Meadow community among the best!

Yes this is kid friendly. The only thing that could be iffy is steam names and those do not display unless you press a button and you can also specifically disable them.

This game got rid of my anxiety at playing multiplayer because everytime I got to a group of animals they always wave and cheer everytime I love it and it all started from a rabbit playing soccer with me :steamhappy:
