Crystal Locations?

As far as I can tell, crystals are the smallest and hardest to find collectibles. Since they seem difficult to find and there isn't a thread for this already, I'm going to put where I've found them so far in the hopes that others will join in!

I've found them in the lower, icy levels of the spiral caverns, and quite a few in the main spiral chamber of the spiral caverns (some blue crystals were on the walls, and I had to fly with the pheasant to reach ledges with them). I've been looking in the purple crystal caverns and the autumn caverns, but I haven't seen any there (this might be because those locations had already been picked clean).

I also collected a few in the green mountains above the spiral caverns, and was unable to find any in the green mountains above the purple crystal caverns.

This is the result of only a few hours of searching, however, since I have only played Meadow a little since the recent update! I hope they're more common, but I just haven't found very many.

Locations are randomly activated, so no spot is always reliable.

I've found some in the purple crystal caves, but as you suggested, I imagine those are popular spots now. I've also found crystals multiple times on the mountains on top of the purple crystal caves. In the big spiral cavern at the bottom, where the little pond is, I've sometimes found crystals on the walls around the little pond. I have occasionally found crystals in the mountains around the tallest mountain on the map (pretty high up).

Spawn rates seems to be hit or miss. I've been grovehopping in the cave with the waterfall and it has worked for me. It's tedious at times as I went through 6 goves finding only 1 crystal, then in the final two finding a total of 5 more.
I prefer searching through the waterfall cave than the crystal cave as there has seemed to be more crystals to come across. A little ironic that the crystal cave seems to be lacking haha

Spiral caves worked for me. Found a couple of crystals today. Other than that, I found some on the mountains (the tallest one to be precise), but their location was on steeps basically.

It's sometimes tedious to climb a mountain, but there is no flora around (like bushes) so the crystals can be noticed easily.

I've had some luck with the "walls" in the jungle area. Also the long tunnel with the white crystal cavern.

Seconded. The waterfall exiting the lotus lake has had a crystal on the right side every time I visited it. It's a pain to get though...
