Sense animals, flowers and pieces?
I wouldent mind there being a skill tree or something of the like to be able to also sense flowers and picture pieces.

You can hear the (yellow, blue, red) "crystals / picture-puzzle pieces". Sounds kind of like a resonating bell when you are near. Helps you narrow down their location. That helps.

If i may expand on this a little?
The pink crystals will make a shining sound with a fluctuation like a police alarm if that makes sense?
The blue will make a deeper, louder noise with more emphasis on the steady tones.
The gold will make a sound similar to the blue but with another set of notes added, making it sound more "epic" so to speak.

Flowers do actually have a sound, though its very quiet and easy to miss...
They make a small shimmering sound a little like wind chimes.

Still i would like to be able to scent these, and the skill tree idea is a good way to make it work so it won't be super easy to gain essence right away.
Hope its added! :extraheart:

I personally like the way it works now as it adds to my feeling of discovery and exploration when I find new things, or another player shows me something I hadn't found before. I think that following scent trails could detract from that. I also like how currently someone new to the game isn't currently disadvantaged as they don't need to level up. Interesting idea though!

Honestly I wouldn't mind flowers/shards to be sensed when you get close enough. My reasoning for this:

Whenever I wind up in a group composed of small animals (frogs, rabbits) they usually try to lead/dart ahead and the only way I can keep tabs on them is by sensing constantly. Unfortunately this majorly handicaps my sight, ESPECIALLY at night where almost the entire screen turns black. It'd be nice to at least see items in sense mode when they're within a reasonable distance because finding them is half the fun of meadow-- It's actually made me try to avoid groups with smaller animals (which I feel horrible about) because I want to be able to see my surroundings.
