Whats the best way(s) to find blue shards?

I've unlocked all the animals except the peasant easily in under 7 hours but I can't seem to find blue shards at all.
Is it just more difficult to get blue shards or is there a certain place I should be searching?

The blue ones are mostly found in the rune stones, your better off searching in a group to open the larger stones for these also there are few lone ones scattered around but the group search is definitely the way to go

Oh sweet I've only ever found blue shards hidden around similar to pink shards so I didnt know rune stones dropped them, thanks heaps!

If you're playing solo, anywhere with a lot of rocks. The sides of the smaller mountains usually work great. If it's a quiet server you can find them one after the other. Just bump your sound right up and learn the difference between the shard sounds.

Message the dev and see if they'll give you the audio file for it. I don't know how likely it is, but it can't hurt to ask.

You could use a screen recorder while playing... Then when you have the sound you want just use an editing software to trim the sounds you want then just transfer it to your phone

I've noticed that when there are lakes with islands on them, shards tend to spawn on those too. I've frequently found blue shards on them, though they are random.

Hello :D I can't specify specific blue shard locations nor guarantee their spawns, but the best places to check would be:

Spring Mountain (easy entrance would be going up a slope that's near the Winter Lake that has the entrance to the Waterfall/Spring/Winter Cave... location wise from center tree: if you see red trees surrounding a lake after going through birch/white trees... just keep heading straight)

Fall Forest (not the foggy area and not the area with a lake... just lots of trees hehe... location wise from center tree: it's sort of behind the black mountains where the swamp is, and it's an extensive area)

Swamp (location wise from the center tree: you should see maybe... two tall black mountain peaks with your "sight" on high)

Fall Mountain (location wise from center tree: go to the swamp, but go to the slope going down on the right side (if you see a chasm, you're in the right area) and you'll see a slope going up to the mountains)

PS: You can also hope for the best breaking obelisks with a partner or partners.
PSS: These are for blue crystals scattered around the land, by the way. Hehe.
