A New Day-Night Cycle
I think a shorter day-night cycle would be nice, and add more variety to the world. Maybe something like within 1 hour or within 3 hours it could cycle between day and night. This would be good for roleplayers, and it'd let people who can't play late at night to see the nighttime skies and the world in its beautiful veil of darkness. Certain achievements can only be achieved late, late at night, so people who have a bedtime can't get those achievements. Personally I don't think that's overwhelmingly fair, you know?
Maybe this could only be on roleplaying servers or special servers or something similar, but I think meadow should have it's own day-night cycle. I think it'd be very nice for us roleplayers, especially us who play the mother lynx, to take shelter for the night and sleep a spell with our friends and families.

I've posted this as a suggestion, but i'm posting it here so people can share your opinions on this!

A solution to the problem is just go to Europe server if you live in the US and vise versa to experiance the night while its daytime in the US servers

Though, how would I tell my roleplay family to move over there? There's also the issue of horrible lag when someone like me enters the Europe servers. I go the the europe servers and the lag tends to make the game very unenjoyable. I don't think there's any reason for Meadow to stick to a 24-hour day-night cycle, so why not give some equal oppertunity?

I think that this idea is really great! Can I add something? I think there should be a server that is Night while it is day in another server, so when you go to that grove it will say (night) and if you switch back it will say (day). So you know whether it is day or night there?

I personally like the cycle as it is. I would say to have a Grove specific to that but that would split our players up even more across the groves making there be less for each. I like how they currently relate to the timezone. The best choice IMO is to just apply this to the role-playing Grove only but it'd be just complimentary, personally I don't see much to it, but I can see why you'd like it.

But in general we shouldn't add even more groves, people would get separated a lot and then we'd have less players on each one. We should wait till the playerbase is bigger I'd say.

For me as a roleplayer, I guess it kind of takes away from the game when i'm only walking around in the daytime. Daytime all the time gets boring and feels less lifelike for roleplay.

I agree! but I have thought of another solution for this why not make it able to change the cycle from the settings like in minecraft? That way everyone else can still have the main cycle.

It wouldn't make sense to do that, really. It'd also probably be confusing.
