runtime error

hi i recently bought the game and got a runtime error and i tried to do what the devs said but it didnt work so if anybody could help me i would love it i still havent gotten to play the game

Thanks for an expansion that wont work, keeps saying rtuntime error, tried veryfying game files, the usual uninstall, and still nothing. Any advice would be great as i enjoy the game and dont want to get a refund!!

try to reinstall Microsoft visual ++ it fixes the problem

I went on the page and thought id downloaded the latest version (2017) YET IT STILL COMES UP WITH THE SAME ERROR.

Did you try to install the programs that are in the commonredis folder of the game? (C:/Program files/steam/steamapp/Syrianwarfare/commonredist)

Can you walk me through? Im not tech savvy. Would be greatly appreciated.

Alright, start first by opening the C: (or whatever is the name of your main hardrive where steam is installed) then Progpram files. Then search for "Steam" folder and open it. Once you open it, look for a folder called "sreamapps" and open it. Afterwards, look for a folder called "common" and open it, once opened, you will see the folders of the games you have installed in your library, search for Syrian Warfare and open its folder.

Inside Syrian Warfare folder there is a folder called "CommonRedist" open it. Inside you will find 5 folders: Directx, DotNet, OpenAL, PhysX and vcredit.

Open vcredit folder then proceed to install microsoft visual from there.

I did it but it only came up with repaor or uninstall the file that was alrerady in there. So repaired it and still no luck,. went onto my security and made it an exception on AVG also, still no damn luck.

no not repair. Uninstall first and then install the version that is in the Syrian Warfare folder.

You need to install the Microsoft visual that comes with the game. You can find it in the game folder.

what happen with the game , i was playing the campaign just in the beginning of december and today , everytime i try launch the game i receive the runtime error. update Microsoft visual dont work anymore. cant play the game anymore unless you fix this in a new update

Runtime issue , i cant run the game anymore since december 20.(i dont receive any dev help on forums)

Please fix the runtime problem , i did everything specified on the forums to make the game work( re install the physx drivers specified on forums , i try the default-old2, re install the vcredist included in game folder and new version downloaded from windows website) and still the same. I was running the game and playing the campaign without problems before 20-22 december and after this dates dont run anymore and i have the runtime error advice everytime i try start the game. sad but i dont receive any help in time about devs in other way i would be obligated to refund the game.
