Time to finish the game
How much time does usually take to finish the game? I'm thinking buying it right now

You are slower than average.

My average playthrough WITHOUT DLCs is some 25-30 hours for all missions. If still in doubt: https://howlongtobeat.com/game?id=50419 .

25-30 hours for the first time playing the game?

My first playthrough was 85 hours in, and I wasnt even at the end of the game yet, probably 85% of the way. But I spent a good deal of time doing coop with other people. When I returned, I started fresh, and it took me 30 hours to get back to where I was, 40 hours total to beat the game, since there was many levels I had never done yet

I actually did some of the Twilight missions. But I still didn't play Coop. I try to join but it never finds any matches.

170+ hours to finish ng++++ max (called Way of the Nioh) with doing tons of co-op, pvp and twilight missions + doing all achievements before actually finishing it.

In these days it will be about 2x shorter or even more because game isn't even near alive like it was right after PC release when I finished it for first time. Good luck with finding anyone to pvp today.

My first playthrough(Magic + Noda) took me some 30-35 hours. I did most of the side missions, but didn't really replay anything and I didn't even touch the multiplayer side.

That's also without DLCs, with them you could perhaps add some 20-ish hours to that number. For some 55 hours.

BS. Most players take 60 to 100 hours to finish the game.

And just so you know, you are not anything special for finishing the game quickly...

That guy has been spamming the forum with bad advice and false information for the past week. I don`t know if he`s trolling or if he just doesn`t understand the game. Either way I do my best to ignore him.

And I agree with you. 60 hours sounds about right for a first playthrough.

I'm 72 hours in and am nowhere near the end game or expansions. I've beaten every dark souls game but this game bent me over and spanked me. Waiting for it to go on sale so I can ride the big wave of co-op once again. I will likely buy the sequel before I ever complete this game. Your time depends on how much you enjoy co-op I suppose or how well you handle difficult fast paced action rpgs

This is common now that the playerbase is dropped. Try again on a sale and watch some sort of co-op guide maybe. Find out which co-op mode is the most populated. Also you should try summoning if joining isn't working but i'd suggest waiting for it to go on sale so there can be like 2k players. Unless you have a handheld to game on while waiting.

Theres still a somewhat decent amount of people doing co-op. Every couple of days, I would spend about 2-3 hours just spamming visit until it times out, and I can find about 10 people to join. When I summon, finding someone it much faster, and that tells me that there really are a handful of people looking to visit, and most of the time I dont find someone, its because those people find them first. I was visited by, and visited myself, a wide variety of names, a few times it was the same people, and it was always cool because most of them I recognise from the Revenants.

Being joined by people and I'm thinking "Hey! I killed your ghost many times!" while I'm spamming block and throwing bombs in their general direction

Yeah I finally visited some matches. It seems it only takes a while to find the first match after opening the game, aftewards it always finds someone.

It's extremely fun to play co-op. If I had know it was this fun I would've done it sooner. And as a visitor I see only benefits, no consequences if I die, good loot, umbracita (which I still never used).

I've never got the top option to work though, the Coo-op in Yokai realm or something. Curious to see what it is.

Care to provide some arguments for that?

Its lengthy enough, 50 hrs at least, and that's only for the main story. DLC is much harder so you would do well to play all the side missions as well before even attempting those.
