Try the Twilight missions. You get more Amrita as rewards for them and usually, once you kill the non-respawning enemies, they're not much harder than the original missions. Also try the Amrita blessing at the shrines, there are a couple of items that boost Amrita gain too.

If you want to farm, look for places where you can use a boulder to kill multiple enemies at once or areas where there are a lot of dwellers/undead soldiers nearby, they tend to give a lot of Amrita for how easy it is to kill them.

Not counting the use of consumable items (Saisetsu-shin's Sake, Extraction Talisman), or specific missions (Marobashi), here's what I remembered that you can use to improve your amrita farm in a "passive way":

1 - Guardian Spirit: Mizuchi. / In NG+ put Saorise as a secondary and always try to increase the Level of these guardian spirits;
2 - Kodama´s Blessing: Oracle´s Blessing. / Important to collect all the Kodamas (at least the Oracles);
3 - Onmyo´s skill: Vital Spirit; / Improve to the maximum;
4 - Prestige points: "Amrita Earned". / Rotate the 5 stats you think are the most useful, of course, including Amrita gain;
5 - Clans: Ashikaga or Toyotomi;
6 - Equipment: In the first gameplay the bonus "Amrita Earned", can reach up to +4.9% in each piece of armor and if I'm not mistaken, also in the accessories. / "Kodama Bowl", may be the best helmet option. / The ranged weapon used can reach up to +5.9% "Amrita Earned" at maximum familiarity. (If I'm not mistaken, pieces of Divine/Ethereal armor and accessories can also reach +5.9%/ Accessories can be used two with "Amrita Earned", or one with "Amrita Earned from People" and the other with "Amrita Earned from Yokai", depending on the mission you can use two of the same type.
