sekigahara
WTF is this mission?

A huge open area with a sh*tton of strong enemies and riflemen that see you from miles away.
tbh it feels like it doesnt fit the game :(

You can snipe the enemies with your ranged weapons, killing them one at a time. Or you can just run past them, hit the shrine, then run to the boss.

It was the decisive battle of the era, I guess they tried to buff it up to make it suitably epic? I honestly felt like sekigahara was the beginning of the end for Nioh. I don't remember a single moment in or after it that made me feel intelligently challenged to adapt or alter my play beyond "get more damage/armor and try again" I'm struggling to find the motivation to finish the DLC for the same reason.

I did it but it was just beyond annoying :steamfacepalm:
My least favorite main mission so far.

You get some new enemies, wow not only different looking, you can fight vs odachi now.
It could have been fun if the lvl layout wasnt that awful.

I like to fight humans and parry them or use twirl with the spear so that mission could have been fun ...

Have you tried some of the more unusual builds in the game? (I`m working off memory here so forgive me if I state something incorrectly.)

Infinite elixer builds are fun. You can face tank everything. Just stand there and chug elixers all day. Not as useful as it sounds but still fun to use.

Infinite ammo builds are pretty cool. Just need the whole set of Yatagarasu armor and the Guardian Spirit to go with it. You can also get 2 accessories that have 5 percent chance of infinite ammo. You can also inherit infinite ammo and put it on every piece of armor.

I could go on but I`ll leave it at that. Point being that I like to try different builds when I get bored with the usual glass cannon+living weapon+extraction taliman cheese builds.

I dont like to build charakters that kinda cheat the game. I already hate it that the game force me to use magic and range weapons too often.

I wanna go for sword skill and not tank out enemies 😅

The game is balanced around it. You are supposed to be experimenting and finding a build that suits your play style. The builds I mentioned are not cheating the game. They actually make the game harder and more challenging. (When compared to glass cannon+living weapon+extraction talisman cheese builds.) I was just trying to say that playing with different builds is something I do when I feel bored or if I feel the game is getting too easy.

There's a secondary path that lets you sneak around most of the forces and do smaller fights with weaker opponents and get behind their lines to either ignore the masses of stronger enemies or clear them out in a careful manner a few at a time.

Thats just not how i wanna play the game. It feels cheap 🤔

I needed 68 hours (and 503 deaths XD) till the end of that mission.
How long would you say the base game might be for me from here?

It really starts to get boring and repetative.
The wieght of the reused areas and enemies feels big on my shoulders :steambored:

source of evil and that giant skeleton was just awful :steamfacepalm:

I find it funny that OP is complaining about every game that isn't Sekiro, even when the mission in question is no different from Sekiro's Gun Fort BS. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen order? Bad! Nioh? Terrible level design! Sekiro? Oh, what a great game, go play it!

When did i said nioh is a bad game? Also JFO is not exactly bad, its just not close as good as ppl make it.

And also sekiro and the Dark souls games have some bad aspekts.

No game is perfect i just share my oppinion to see what others think. What is basically the use of these comment sections.

Even when i enjoy a game i'm not just a stupid fanboy that covers the bad parts and also i am well aware that aspects i dont like are just my personal point of view.

So i dont know what your problem is 🤗

Ps: gun fort isnt even that bad. The senpou assassin munchkins in the buring outskirts made me super mad in my first sekiro playthrough 😆
