Mods ever going to happen?

Been waiting for mods to make the game less irriating and punishingly difficult. Anyone know the situation with mods? Couldnt even find a nexus hub for Nioh. Only things Ive found to ease difficulty were trainers, and they just ruin the game as they only have invinciblility/etc cheats.

There are a few hanging around, but they're mostly along the lines of what you're describing.

I think you already found it. It is called "trainers".

The game is too hard > turn on trainer for god mode and 1 hit kill everything
The trainer is too OP > turn it off and enemy will one hit kill you.

There is already something in the game that makes it easier. Its called Onmyo.
