mmm, fought human bosses few times. i try to avoid them
They also lose LW if you manage to Ki break them, which isn't the easiest thing in the world, but if you want to go that route, Tonfa are great, and you can throw a Yokai Water Pot at their head to put them in the middle of a Yokai Realm - this doesn't wonderous levels of Ki Damage, but usually isn't worth the effort.
Finally, you _can_ parry a number of their attacks in LW, but it's rather risky as most LW humans are Skill attack happy, most of which cannot be parried. A succesful parry will either knock them out of LW, or hopefully knock them on their back for the Final Blow from option 1.
Toyotomi doesn't go LW, but he follows Yokai rules rather than Human ones. Meaning that stagger-locking him is an utter pain without first Ki-breaking him, and he has access to a number of annoyingly mobile moves if you let him get up to speed. On the upside, this means Confusion on him is highly effective; sadly he's immune to Fire and Lightning, meaning you'll need access to easy Water or Earth to go alongside Wind.
Maria is the odd duck out, like always. What she has operates more like a super-Elemental Talisman, except it's just a pure damage buff with a ranged attack that's an utter pain. She still goes down to Daiba-washi, and you can temporarily stagger/combo lock her until she summons her shiny sword again.
Tachibana just applies a Lightning Talisman to his sword. He kinda-sorta cheats in other ways, in that his Toughness is much higher than it probably ought to be, and the Everlasting Ki from his WotW armor set plays merry hell with Abyss runs. Not exactly the hardest boss, but he's an utter pain until you get used to him.
yeah, is like a ng+ the abyss. need to use new magics, items, etc. and learn how to evade haha
Ki break is fine for awhile but once you start getting into the abyss, don’t bother breaking ki unless you plan on using a confuse setup cause it’s a waste of time. And some bosses like shigipede you really don’t want to break their ki cause you’ll be activating their trap card.
LW humans for the most part aren’t too bad once you get used to fighting them. I’d rather fight any of them versus having to fight Jin. Ishida is a nightmare too if you can’t manage to nuke him while he’s powering up.
Or you can do my personal favorite with kusa which is use serpent strike which makes them stagger towards you > foot sweep > (switch to dual sword) SotC > finishing blow ;^)
Footsweep following a serpent strike makes enemies unable to avoid being knocked down. It works every time. It even works on Jin and Maria.
