There're places that allow quick farming, like Marobashi, but it's probably ahead of you.
No idea what Marobashi is.
As long as the number of swords on a mission is 3 or less, the game thinks that between your current level and the gear level you have equipped, that you will have a moderately difficult (or less) time with the mission.
I'd say it may be worth it to clear through the side missions, update your gear, and such.
As for farming levels, that depends on which part of the game you're at. Find the missions with the best amrita rewards (it probably will be one of the daily missions or a sub-mission where you can abuse saisetsu-shin's sake), stack those +% amrita drop bonuses as high as you possibly can and finish the mission as quickly and efficiently as you can (that is, run straight for the boss and ignore the trash mobs and/or get familiar with the mission objective and enemy placement to improve your speed).
Oh, and don't burn through all of your amrita stones. It's always useful to keep a few dozen spares as they can instantly fill your amrita gauge and the proper use of LW will save you some headaches and speed things up (especially if you're using a LW build).
