How do you farm levels?
I got to the point where I am now below mission level requirements and I am not feeling like farming few mobs and running back to shrine on repeat, is there any other way to farm levels?

The mission level isn't a level requirement, usually mission levels are higher, and even will exceed the player level cap.

There're places that allow quick farming, like Marobashi, but it's probably ahead of you.

I know that, but the longer it drags the more recommended level gets higher, which turns the game into some try hard fest, I don't want that.
No idea what Marobashi is.

The recommended levels are not accurate to their difficulty, but the number of Red Graves just below it are. Look out for that instead.

As long as the number of swords on a mission is 3 or less, the game thinks that between your current level and the gear level you have equipped, that you will have a moderately difficult (or less) time with the mission.

I'd say it may be worth it to clear through the side missions, update your gear, and such.

You can also consume every spirit stone you have. Sometimes you end up having a bunch of them and you don't even know.

That number is not the mission level requirement, it is the level of the enemies inside the mission. That's just a reference for you to know what to expect from them, both in terms of resistances and abilities.

As for farming levels, that depends on which part of the game you're at. Find the missions with the best amrita rewards (it probably will be one of the daily missions or a sub-mission where you can abuse saisetsu-shin's sake), stack those +% amrita drop bonuses as high as you possibly can and finish the mission as quickly and efficiently as you can (that is, run straight for the boss and ignore the trash mobs and/or get familiar with the mission objective and enemy placement to improve your speed).

Oh, and don't burn through all of your amrita stones. It's always useful to keep a few dozen spares as they can instantly fill your amrita gauge and the proper use of LW will save you some headaches and speed things up (especially if you're using a LW build).

As others have said, recommended level means nothing outside of a rough guide to mission order and difficulty. You shouldn't need to grind too much but definitely worth killing enemies throughout a mission instead of just running past (something I know I did as the game went on).

Don`t rely so much on your characters level and instead focus on putting together a good build and set bonus.
