Stuck in tutorial
Can anyone help please.
I know the PC controls are crazy in this game as initially it was created for controllers.
I've got eveything sorted so far before the tutorial but then got stuck in it. Don't know what I am doing wrong.
After you learn how to shoot it asks you to move an item in you external inventory UP,DOWN, LEFT,RIGHT. trying to do it but nothing happens. don't understand how the directions work and what buttons to press.

the arrow keys are not working at all

Got it sorted in the end. obviously the KB+M will get some time to get used to it

I know this is old post but do you remember what you did? I'm stuck at the same spot. Controls seems to be 1-4 and R but nothing happens.

What a helpful answer, next time don't answer at all.

Even tho it's been 2 years, google still points toward this topic.

Solution: You just have to assign spirt stones to one of the shortcuts and use them at least once to proceed. Esc -> Item menu -> assign to one of the slots. R to toggle item menus; 1,2,3,4 to use the item.
I also got confused for a moment if it wasn't just the mouse + keyboard issue.

PS I do own a gamepad and after trying it out in game I still prefer mouse over it, way more convenient camera and aiming controls.
