Shrines are too far from bosses
I'm at the mission at the burning castle/fortress. All the guys have guns.

Pretty easy level and the boss although he's got me 4 times now doesn't seem like he would be a problem, I've had him at half health.

Frustrating having to run past 1 yoki and 4 guys all with guns though, smashing down the breakable walls along the way and taking health away that I'll need for the boss.

I just wanna fight the boss, I don't mind the difficulty now, but don't make me run through the level for no reason.

Other shrines have been this way, the Hino Enna fight near the beginning was the same. All the enemies there are easy to run past so no risk of taking damage but why make me go so far ? Just put a shrine just outside the boss arena.

there's a shortcut thru the gate leading down to the basement with a ladder letting you skip enemies but it needs to be unlocked from the inside.

Hino Enma wasn't that far from the shrine... just pop some items or something to lessen their ability to hear you or see you.

Use Suppa and Cat Walking scrolls. Tiger running also works well.

Almost every bosses has 1 or 2 shortcuts, whenever there's no shrine close-by. Usually, the maximum number of enemies you got to really face is around 6 to 8. It's usually 1 or 2 medium or big ones and the are canon fodder. That or those shortcuts requires you to open them from the other side (meaning you got to reach them from within) first every time.
