Going by your logic, 九尾 = nine tails. The 2 words only tells me whatever it is has something related to havig nine tails, it doesn't says anything about it being fox spirit or Greater fox spirit.
So your point? And i still have 0 ideas why you claim that wiki article is BS...?
Are you not aware of how that functions?
九尾 translates to nine tail, but literally means a fox spirit with nine tails
the correct translation is....
female warrior
Obviously I know that. My question is why is that wiki page considered BS to you?
because if they're going to talk about fox in japanese mythology, the article should be named "YOUKO"
if they're going to talk about foxes, the article should be named "FOX"
If they wanted to make an article about japanese female warrior, they should name the article...
wait for it....
"Japanese female warrior"
Isn't that the very definition of a weeb?
now that you mention it i should change it to niger and name myself Nigeress
And isn't that's why that english article is actually named "Kitsune" instead of "Fox" as you mentioned. If the japanese wanted to read up on "kitsune" they wouldn't type "fox" on their wiki now would they, typing "kitsune" on their own wiki shows a proper wiki about.. foxes.
You claim that english article is wrong, but it's meant for english readers, not the japanese. When non-japanese are interested in what "Kitsune" means, that page totally makes sense and serves it's purpose?
you have a point.
now that i think about it its the same situation as the word "HENTAI", when it should just be called "porn anime"
it triggers my autismo everytime people call rockman as megaman, balrog as vega, vega as bison, bison as balrog, and gouki as akuma
That's because that word is an online slang, it wasn't an actual word used for that by them. It just got used so much that it became a staple word. Totally different from that wikipedia issue.
Lol. It's for sure Mega Man, Rock Man doesn't even make an ounce of sense... where are his rocks?
