Second guardian spirit

I just got the ability to have a second guardian spirit and I can't figure out which ability is the passive. There's an ability at the bottom and another one highlighted on the list. I could've swore it said one ability is passive. What do?

Only one bonus or special effect is active for 2nd GS, and it's highlighted in white iirc. If you are seeing red, that means you haven't got enough Spirit points to unlock it.

Its like bright yellow. Even when changing your primary, you'll see it on the bottom.

It’s the the only one that’s not grayed out.

I’d like to suggest Bishas Centipede for a secondary. That extra pierce dmg is awesome, especially if you stack it with pierce on your weapon. Early on I used blue dragon but these days it’s really either bisha or the lucky spider. Saoirse is good too for extra Amrita.

To clarify:

The one that is not grayed out on the list is the effect you get from the secondary spirit.

The one you see in a yellow box on the bottom is a combination guardian spirit effect - it's an extra bonus effect that is determined by both of the spirits you have equipped. Most of the time, the effect is based on the elements of the spirits, but there are some special effects, too, like Nine Tails + Itokuri gives an additional bonus to divine & ethereal drop rates.

The combination bonus is always negligible, so don’t pass over a good secondary if it doesn’t have the combination bonus you want
