Reforging Tip
Hi, so this is for those who are overly OCD about their gear stats.

So I discovered something while reforging and savescumming like a total choad. Reforging isn’t entirely random. If you reforge, then savescum, then reforge the exact same slots with the same mats, you’ll notice that you will get the exact same rolls every time. Even if you try mixing it up and reforge with different mats (different mats will give different rolls), then go back to the original mat, you’ll notice that you’ll continue getting the same rolls just minus the gap when other mats were used.

So say you reforged the same 3 slots 5 times and got CTA (heart), then savescum. You will always get CTA heart each time. Yes, I know, it’s dumb as hell.

So what say you to my dudes who forged a fresh new piece and want to create the perfect weapon?

(I’ll start by saying that if you reforge 3 slots at once, the damage bonus stats [such as familiarity dmg bonus], and CTA will reforge to a higher value than you can get with umbracite. Fam goes to A+, and CTA goes to AA-) [this is a very small bonus, but if you’ve read this far then you’re probably one of the OCD folks]

First of all, I suggest forging something that DOES NOT have an inheritable stat. So say you forged a kishin hammer with 5 reforgable slots with no inheritable. I suggest starting with at least 20 mil. Copy your save file, and go talk to those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s who you’ve made rich beyond the most obnoxious oil prince’s dreams and start with the first 3 slots. Say you get CTA heart. Well crap, I want CTA strength. Savescum, then start over with the next 3. Say you’ve gotten through all sets of 3 and STILL don’t have what you want. Start with the first FOUR then repeat the process. Still no bueno? Mix it up by reforging the first slot, skip the second, and pick 3rd and 4th, and so on.

I’ve also noticed that if you turn one of the slots you’re NOT reforging to a green star, it weirdly seems to increase higher rarity stats. I don’t no just try it.

Sorry for typos I typed this on mobile.

Also, if after you get the CTA you want and are ballin with your AA- CTA, if you have 4 slots left over, do your CCD next for an easy 15% base stat get. If you only have 3, then reforge the 3 slots at the same time until you get familiarity dmg bonus to make sure you get that A+ max!

WARNING!!!
Reforging for AA-!CTA does NOT work on divines. It must be ethereal!

Heh, this is actually sorta old, we figured it out long ago it uses a seed for the RNG so doing the exact same reforges gives you the exact same stats, so you would do one stat for a given amount of rerolls and if your stat didn't show up nexttime, reroll #2 would be a different stat so the table would change.

But just to be clear to other players the bonus for CTA is extremelly low between regular A+ and the higher value of AA-, way below the 1% damage difference, not worth it unless you are absolutelly OCD about it and are drowning in millions of gold and thousands of fragments.
@fox.

1. there're 10 possible combinations when you're savescum rolling 3 out of 5; C(5,3) formula. Make sure to try them all.

2. You'll get a better outcome using 3 to 7 divines when trying to forge a weapon with no inheritable stat slot (this is something I've noticed, needs verification). And... there's type of weapons where you'd want to have inheritable slot filled.

(and yeah, as Zamus said, it's an OCD thing... for rich)

I have been trying this, but with anima stone.... its really hard to get the effect I want on it. Have been trying for 3 days already with over 200 attempts with s/l.... still didnt have it (70 anima stones, maybe its still on short side)
What are you looking for from the Anima stones? I've only used a couple, and while there are a couple that look pretty fun for PVP, most of the unique effects don't seem as good as some of the better ones you can get through Divine Fragments.

I am looking for the effect of Increase dmg against enemies (Dual sword) on gloves. So far, I can find Regular sword, kusarigama, tonfa, odachi or axe.
