Omi region sub missions are WACK af
2 bosses at the same time? WACK I tell you. I like my games hard but this is just pure masochism at this point. What in all that is holy were they thinking when they decided to give us these sub missions?

Hey now! Hyakki Yagyo is probably my favorite mission in the game. But yeah. They can be pretty tough. I take it you are mostly referring to Return of the Gourd? That`s a tough one and might actually be easier to play it solo. You may also want to just leave it and come back later. Another option is to have an over powered friend carry you through it. Not much honor in that but it would get the job done.

They're optional, and at the end of each playthrough for a reason. If it's too much for you, then ignore them, but know that there are people that do enjoy the challenge, and that there is value in these missions existing.

I went back to those double boss missions lastnight after playing NG+ a bit and decking out in full divine gear. It was actually manageble at that point (still around lv110~ish but lv150 divine gear)

One of them however required a bit of use of the map to cheese/finish one guy off once the 2nd spawned in.

Isn't that mission only possible to play solo though? It's pretty hard ngl but I don't think it's impossible. But the one with oda and his waifu was balls.

I know they are, but still.

Hyakki Yagyo can be done in multiplayer. Same with Return of the Gourd.

How do you do with Return of the Gourd? There's no shrine?

Just go to Torii Gate/Yokai Realm with companion. Pick the mission and you can play it with a friend or with strangers.

You're partially right. Apparently if you're 20-25 lvls below the mission requirements, it becomes more bareable.

A lot, but not all, of these missions you get after completing The Demon King Revealed were added as an extra challenge some time after release before the release of DLC. Something to keep players occupied for a bit before the DLC hit. Most really are just challenge missions for the sake of being difficult.

It is doable if you utilize your weapon skills

Oda + Yuki, No armor

Restless Spirit, this mission I run armor coz I need movement speed. Mitsunari won't wait. He would show up any minute.

The Two Kings, no armor

my patience was allready wearing very thin at ghost of sawayama where you fight the onmyo mages.

The placement of annoying enemies in narrow corridors is just awesome here XD

I dont even know what i hate more the wheel monks, or 2 or 3 of the element demon heads
that just poke you and if you got more than one the stunlock you, mix in a stupid looking mage making weird noises while he kills you for the third time and your equipment is at rist :steamhappy:

just kiddin, i usually dont really rage but its pretty annoying.
Mostly when you just wanna finish a mission before going to sleep :D
