Always Offline

the Network Connection Icon on the Top right always says Offline and the option in the shrines to summon people is grayed out, is there any way to fix this?

i've been pressing the Lock-on button to try and get online but no dice either, help would be much apreciated

O would be the lock-on button right? i've already tried this, multiple times, doesn't work, message is grayed out for a couple of seconds and nothing happens, i believe i mentioned i had already tried this on my post

Assuming you are using default control mapping. IT MUST WORK.

If it doesn't. Reset control to default. Try again

the game its taking the command, however it wont connect, no errors just grays out for a second and then nothing

Then you should check your firewall, NAT port... etc. I don't think it is the game issue.
Accidentally, you might add Nioh to the firewall list and it blocks outgoing connection.

I tought of this as well and tried completely disabling my firewall to test if this was the problem, still no dice

err im a little late but a fix for me was restarting the game and pressing r3 and my browser opened up and asked me to connect my epic games account after doing that it connected me online

This only applies to current, Epic wasn't added in 2020 for support on Nioh didn't hit Epic till 2021. And the integration portion of the online came later that year, But to OP

Looks like you got a firewall block, Should really check your defenses.
