Is it worth buy in 2019/2020 and how does it compare to sekiro

So i liked sekiro, bossfights where cool and setting was unique but combat i would like more a dark souls style combat.

Is this game good to get. Does it have a decent story and gameplay?
Kinda wish the 2-3 year old game was a little bit cheaper for 10€ to give it a shot tho.

What does the online do, is there like some sort of pvp?

Yes it is worth buying. It has nothing in common with Sekiro other than they are both considered hard games. Story is a bunch of nonsense about crystals turning people into demons. It`s pretty incoherent and is probably the games weakest aspect. If you play Nioh play it for the gameplay. If you do end up enjoying the story then consider that a nice bonus.

Nioh has pvp though not many people play it. It also has online co-op.

Don't worry, i would also love to see some good combat with bosses.

Performance I`d say is average. I`ve had a few crashes and seen some weird stuff happen. However that doesn`t happen often. I think most people who have problems are using AMD cards. You might want to look into that.

Visuals I`d describe as average, adequate, or "good enough". Not bad. Not ugly. Just sufficient.

Gameplay is the reason to buy this game. If you want a game you can play for a thousand hours Nioh is among the best.

Edit: I`m sure someone else will leave a comment sooner or later. That`ll give you a second opinion before you decide to buy.

Gameplay has speed similar to Sekiro, game has 5 levels of difficulty + Abyss.

The equipment has rarity system similar to many RPG games like Diablo/Path of exile/Borderlands/Dead island/Divinity - original sin etc. there 6 different rarities, each one better than previous(with better stats) - Common, Uncommon, Rare, Exotic, Divine(at NG+/2 difficulty), Ethereal(NG+3/4 difficulty).

There magic system similar to DS when you equip that, but here you need skill points to unlock many magic/Ninjutsu skills, for each skill tree(magic, swords, rapier, etc) you need their skill points of those skill trees.

Personally I like this game more than DS or Sekiro, but that's because of loot system and because of this game more focused on story than on pure lore.

I put in +- 3000 hours in games from From Software including Sekiro and I can definitely say Nioh is fun. It’s totally different (more gear oriented etc) but really will offer you tons of fun if you liked Sekiro.

How does the game visually compare to dark souls 3 or sekiro? Is it as good looking? I watched some video's and im not sure about the resolution and enviremont design (details).

How about the frame rate is it locked to 60fps or as much as u want?

It looks fun man indeed but im not sure i will get that envolved to the game since i like japanese game but not japanese games that overdue itself in crazyness, like f.e i dont like anime and all that ♥♥♥♥, but this one looks ok i guess. Im kinda picky, Sekiro didnt bother me but im not sure about this one.

im going to be starting this game this weekend. i beat it for the ps4 when it first dropped and later sold my ps4. now i got it with alllll the dlc and wouldnt mind havin a squad to run through it with

Add me if you want someone to run through it with you. No mods though. I don`t do mods in multiplayer games.

Edit: If you haven`t played this game since it first released for PS4 you`re going to be in for a surprise. A lot has changed since then. Nerfs and buffs. It`ll be like playing it for the very first time.
