How to break crack in wall

Per subject, how to crack it if the barrels next to them are no longer there - e.g. in Samurai from Sawayama mission?

I tried using explosive cannon but to no avail.

As i know, you can't break it without barrels

Use the shrine to refresh the barrels.

Barrels didn't re-appear after I resurrected at the Shrine. I completed the mission now but wondered if there's another way to break cracked walls without the barrels.

But you still didn't access the shrine. Visit it to refresh. All breakable stuff will be respawned

After I was resurrected at Shrine, I accessed it couple of times to Level Up, etc. Don't this count as a refresh?

There are a few locations in the Sawayama mission which have barrels on both sides of the cracked wall. They are non-explosive on the initial side you see the wall. The explosive ones are at the back side and are used to blow open the wall to serve as a shortcut.

There's one particular one where you don't get to access the other side of the wall to open that particular shortcut until you're ve---ry close to the end of the level and even then you can still miss it because it requires that you backtrack to a previous shrine via a different path.
