Tengu Fan and Confusion

Saw 3 videos where player used Tengu Fan on 9 Tails and Date S, and in all scenarios after using Tengu Fan, they used Water Sword to drain the Ki out of the bosses.

I believe Tengu Fan generates a Wind effect on your enemies to reduce their attack/damage values but how do you use it to practical put the bosses into a Confuse state?

for confusion the enemies just need to be inflicted with 2 different elements. say fire and lighting or wind and water etc...

I know and have the Heaven dual swords which inflict lightning and fire damages but have not been able to use these to put bosses into Confusion.

So, I'm wondering if Tengu Fan somehow enhances confusion on bosses?

Tbh, those swords suck to apply confusion since each one applies a minimal amout of lightning or fire, the few videos I have seen they can't fill the bar to trigger the effects.

He is just using tengu fans to apply wind since it's extremelly easy to do then he uses a lightning only sword to apply the second element.

I remember he said something about no investment needed to onmyo, thats what the tengu fan. Let me try if i can find his thread again.

I remember my other pair of swords - Kogarasu-maru and Nuke-maru I think - had a different single elemental attack, except it was maybe 4 values higher than the Heaven sword iirc. I shall take another look later and try to re-temper it to Lightning or Fire.

TLDR, but I surmise he said Confusion doesn't drain human Ki but does for Yokai? Is Tengu Fan something you forge b/c I cannot find how to get it.

it can drop from the tengu monsters, IE the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that have the staff and can can fly sort of.

you can just check his channel, he tried confusion on date, jin and sarutobi, doesnt seem to do anything from the looks of it.

you can farm tengu like what reborn said iirc, or use smithing text to forge. Can't remember where to farm it though lol...
