don't know about the purple thing... if a yokai stands inside their mist, they just regenerate their ki and can't be broken.
Purple ki = Yokai, these enemies do not deplete their ki via attacking, however they also do not regen ki unless standing inside a yokai pool, once out of ki they stagger from any attack, this includes bosses, most regular yokai have a weak spot that instantly drains their ki, the reason some yoki still have ki it's because you broke their horn while they were on a yokai pool so the recovered a small amout of ki.
I just beat the Centipede, I'm about lvl 40 but I still have to practice the Ki Pulse. If I want to avoid them regenerating too easily I'll have to master cleansing their dark pools. I think I should have mastered Ki Pulse way earlier. Back to practice for me! :)
Yes I did for my 2 weapons that I want to use as main. But I'm bad at doing lots of stuff at the same time (I have autism), especially if it's a timed thing like the pulse combined while focusing on the battle at the same time. But don't worry, I just need to practice a little harder. I can do it
It will bcome natural eventualy.
