Armor sets in the Complete edition

So do we get all the armor sets? like the preorder bonus sets? Cause all i keep finding is Warrior of The West and I think its fugly..

We only miss the black Nioh set, but even if we had all the pre-order set you would still see WotW most of the time, it's just a very good easilly farmeable set early on, later on you will find red demon, after that you will also find a ton of Hayabusa for most WotStong/WotD and in the latter 2 you find a million Tatenashi.

it's really annoying. I was playing offline for my first playthrough and activated online now in NG+. All these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ revenants drop is Warrior of the West and Red Demon... I mean after several hours I finally got the set items I wanted for now but it is ridiculous how many of those I get with the amount of armor in the game. Are the other sets really that bad?

It's actually the opposite - everyone using the others don't die anywhere near as often.

But yes, for Light Armors, Red Demon is easy to acquire (only one Demon Horn each piece to forge, and the Smithing Texts are easy to get) and is probably the first set most players complete (along with Way of the West). Hayabusa is probably the best Light Armor in the game, and is also not terribly difficult to acquire.

For Heavy Armor, Tatenashi is THE tanking king. Hiraishi is also pretty good, but a fair bit rarer.

Medium Armor is where I tend to see the most variation - with good reason. Kingo's Set, Demon King's set, Fanatic's set, Last Great General set... there are so many excellent options here that it's no wonder that you see quite a mix.
